  1. I just got my Razer Naga today, and I'm LOVING it...little bit of a learning curve, but I'm quickly getting the hang of it...going to really help for my Mara for sure though.
  2. Canadian-- I shuddered watching that vid. You're a serious beast. Unfortunately, it did highlight how badly GR/TM needs a nerf, but even were it to be nerfed, you'd still be beasting it up! Great playing, I hope I never fight you! =)
  3. I read these threads and range between smirking at the outrageously out of proportion rages, threats, comments, and whining (it's a video game people, get some perspective), and getting genuinely frustrated with the ignorance of gamers who don't have even the tiniest idea about how much programming is involved in a modern day MMO. They can't "just fix" a lot of problems in this game by flicking a switch, or changing a couple of numbers. The programming involved in a game of this magnitude is almost organic it's so complex. I earn my livelihood programming for a very large (and nameless) gaming company, personally working on their flagship MMO. I will say this once, and you need to believe it: you have no idea how hard it is to change things in these games. Even the tiniest change can quite literally break the game. These things take time and this game is BRAND new, and experiencing a MUCH better launch than any other MMO I've worked on or played. Now, take a deep breath, remember that this isn't real life, and CALM. DOWN.

  5. I absolutely poop on sorcs of any spec. You just have to play with some skill. Bait them into using their CDs and escapes, and when they have nothing left they drop faster than any other class. If you burn everything right off the bat he'll likely have two bubbles, to incapacitates, a slow, a sprint, and a knockback up. Get him to spend those with reg DPS, then burn him down lik a wet paper sack after.
  6. This morning I won a 6-3 AND a 6-1 and neither counted. Believe it or not, it's not (solely) score-related.
  7. You get the same advantage as the other players do per time spent. So some people invest more time than you do? Why should you get "free" what others play extensively to gt. you don't want to work for something? Fine, but don't complain when others who are willing to put in the work get the reward. As to your very poorly thought out NFL analogy, you are actually dead wrong. NFL players who put in more work (practice and train more) do get advantages over those who don't. Their gear in this case is better physical conditioning and skills.
  8. 3 hours of PvP this morning and only "two" wins...Fix this bug!!!!
  9. Are you kidding?! I would poop myself with joy as an Op if tere were tat many squishes in one WZ!
  10. On Veela there are a few Ops I play with/against everyday (I play 90% in the morning, so the pool of players is a little small), and Ragnej is still kicking massive patooty. He has zero problem topping damage in WZs and frankly, I hate being on the opposite side of him. But the vast majority of Ops have yet to learn to play. They got so used to steamrolling absolutely everything that they never became competent at PvP. If you're having trouble as an Op, you really just need to get better.
  11. Honestly, something very simple to do to help alleviate the frustrations of having hundreds of champ comms and no BM comms, would be to offer sale of other items (ie consumables, mats, mounts, etc.) for champ tokens. Then at least once all your companions are fully decked out in champ gear, you have something to spend them on still that benefits you.
  12. Hey, I'm 9 for 13 bags and have yet to get a dupe. RNG is RNG.
  13. This this this. This is a superb idea. It allows BW to get their RNG fix by still giving a low chance to reward gear, but it also allows players to get gear that is appropriate for their valor rank. Please listen BW! Edit: centurion gear should have n valor requirement, champ should be 40, and BM should stay at 60.
  14. Just hit valor 56 on my Sorc. I have so little trouble killing all but the most skilled players it's not even funny. It has nothing to do with putting out tons of damage (which we don't do, though over the course of a WZ our dots add up a bunch of trivial damage that just inflates the final number), but rather how many abilities we have that allow us to continue to live and do damage. Madness is the king of kiting you just have to know your target. You see a Jugg running up on you start casting FL. He will leap at you 90% of the time, just knock back, force slow, dot up and DF while running away (pro tip: you DF behind you), reapply force slow as needed. Once he charges again just stun if knock back is on cd still, otherwise save it. Keep reapplying static shield and maintaining dots, while FLing if you can get some distance. Also use shock on CD since you can keep running while using it. You also have sprint and our mezz if you need em. Guaranteed win. And the tank types are the hardest for us to kill. BH/Trooper? Interrupt the second tracer (cause you're dotting on the first one), watch them flail and panic, DPS like normal till they start casting Tracer again, use stun, DPS like normal, interrupt the next tracer if they are even still alive. Ops are easier versions of tanks if you break the right stuns. Snipers just dot and los. Assassins....poor assassins. Sorcs just interrupt their fl and stun as needed. We have the right tools for all situations. Healers are kinda tough though.
  15. Yeah I stopped using it entirely, instead using that GCD on a shield that would hopefully last till the tank could taunt it back.
