  1. I completed conquest on 2 different characters last week and didn't get the personal conquest charges (34?), apparently because I got the conquest inside GSF (when I finished a GSF weekly).. That was after getting lvl 80 (on both those characters) before (at the same time, actually) I got personal conquest the first week of the patch, so I did not get the personal conquest credit 2 weeks in a row...
  2. don't believe the mission tracker, check it in the mission log to verify you didn't really get credit...
  3. I have NOT gotten credit for more things than I did get credit for (so far). I completed conquest at the same time I got 80 for 2 chars, and before I got 80 for a 3rd. The next week, I got conquest on one of those but no credit for the mission. After the second char that got conquest didn't show any progress, I noticed that the mission tracker said 0/100 but when I opened the mission log and clicked the mission, it said 34/100... I did a GF FP on a 3rd char, but didn't get any credit for that (not the tech adv mission, searching for allies nor the vet fp weekly).
  4. I guess there are two possibilities: 1. BW hates you personally and prioritizes everyone else to login before you 2. it's bugged
  5. deleting (or renaming) the bitraider folder has not worked for me. it does cause the launcher to do a verifying (that counts up percentage), but after I hit play and get to the select character screen, it is stuck in quick play mode with 0.00% downloaded (doesn't matter if I did the bitraider hack or not).
  6. I have renamed my bitraider folder and started the bitraider mini-support service multiple times. The launcher does an extra verifying 0-100% that takes a minute or so, but hitting play still shows "quick play mode" on the char select screen at 0.00% (that never increases, even after leaving it logged in long enough to get auto logged out for inactivity).. I've tried both NA servers.
  7. What is your objective? The fastest way to level is to buy a level token and instantly become lvl 75 (or 70 or whatever the token gives you). If you want to experience the game while you level, then doing a mix of (purple) story mission (class and planet and a few special things like the Jedi Prisoner) with dailies/weeklies, random gf flash points and/or PvP is fast (whether there is 2x XP or not). In fact, there are people that want to turn off or slow down the exp gain (even during normal 1x xp) because it is to fast and they over-level all the content. Old-timers will be happy to remind you that you younglings just don't know how good you have it because back in the day it took 12x as long to level a character to level cap,,,
  8. They have to grease the hamster wheels, blow the dust out of the servers, degause the CRT displays, change the tape reels on the tape drives, re-stack the punch cards for the code, refill the food/water bowls for the ack dogs in various zones, etc. Actually, they do maintenance on the back end, which probably includes purging old log files, cleaning up the database(s), maybe purging old/deleted accounts from the systems, rebooting servers?, but maybe even changing the loot tables or odds of getting a crit while crafting.
  9. You say it is only (or mostly?) on your main but not all the time. What adv class/discipline do you have set? What is your renown rank? Do you have loot disc set specifically or are you letting it loot based on your current disc? Is you inventory full/nearly full? Do you have things in other stashes (cartel item stash, maybe you had full command stash before, ??) Did you expand your stash over the default? Does it happen more if the galaxy is the same light/dark as your char, or opposite? Is there a server load issue (does it happen at peak play times in zones that are highly populated)? Are you queued when you open crates? In a stronghold, on fleet, in a pvp instance, ? Since others have said they haven't run into this problem, it might be some odd combination of the above that is causing it. It'd be nice to know that so we can avoid that combination.
  10. Since Alderaan has the practice dummies, did they just make it all a non-rest zone on purpose? Have they acknowledged it is a bug, or did they do it intentionally? Are they planning to fix it? I guess this is just a minor annoyance for max-level characters, so maybe it is low priority?
  11. I did a search for the rest zone "bug" for Alderaan but only found it mentioned in a PTS bug list... So, it seems we need a bug list for the released version of the Alderaan SH.
  12. This is exactly why I don't get why so many players care about romance options (or lack of them). They've (effectively) removed the game advantages (ability to use romance gifts and extra affection gained) , and there are (almost) never even any cut scenes that care if you romanced the comp or not. It is an RPG, just role play the romance, if that's what you want to do...
  13. It depends on the bug. They will fix some, not others. They will introduce new bugs that they might or not fix. They have fixed things and the re-broken them too... There are lots of bugs that are just minor announces, that will probably not ever get fixed, but put in bug reports for things that are really wrong (you never know, that one half-time dev might fix it).
  14. maybe they think you are putting out spoilers and are trying to silence you...
  15. Set bonuses have always been (mirrored) class specific. A Jug/Guard set has never worked for an Assassin/Shadow, it was like there was no set bonus at all if you equiped it. You could make a generic set out of crafted mods, but that'd miss the whole point of the "set bonus".
