  1. As an experienced player who has been with the game since the beginning it is very frustrating to see all the new players queuing for MM flashpoints under geared and without any knowledge of mechanics. Now in theory a tank can have lower gear than 336 and do well in MM flashpoints with a reliable healer but if they don't know the mechanics then you get into all sorts of trouble. I feel that MM flashpoints are for experienced players who have good gear, especially since some of the bosses are a straight DPS check. VET mode is for those learning and gearing. My suggestion for the dev's would be to assist players by giving gear stats in group finder queue alongside their role so we can have the choice to join or not given that information. I ask this because to date I am wasting many flashpoints each day, many which incur a stand down time, due to not being able to get through the flashpoint. Any other suggestions?
  2. I would like to see the loadout screen tied to the interface so that debuff scale, skill bar placement, size etc can be saved between each different loadout. That would be a truly integrated loadout system. On a different note why is there no Legacy Bay in the Cartel Market (which is supposed to be a 'One Stop and Shop' area on the fleet. Makes no sense at all.
  3. Having the same issue as all of you. Hope they find a fix for it soon.
  4. Thank you for your comments. I guess what I was meaning was a function or perk that you could buy that allowed 2 guilds to merge into one somehow. Perhaps the easiest way is just what you said and dismantle 2 guilds to form a brand new one.
  5. I've been playing this game since the beginning but only in the last year did I decide to start my own guild. It was fantastic for awhile and I had good dedicated officers who really helped the guild become a great place to be. But alas people slowly started to assert their personalities which led to arguments and eventually people decided to leave or just not play their toons. I've been in two minds about rebuilding the guild and have spoken to other dedicated players with guilds who have had similar experiences. We were all saying what a shame we couldn't combine our guilds to form a new one, where we don't lose everything we have put in to our own, while being with other dedicated players who want to continue playing and achieving their goals. It's so hard to find mature, dedicated players for positions in guild and this would be a great solution to having the best people all together making the guild and game even greater. What do you all think?
  6. I've been a subscriber of SWTOR since the beginning and have seen many changes and additions over the years. There's a host of annoying things that I would like to see changed but one of the most important is how difficult crafting has become. Not only does the top tier gear/equip require more materials, the drops for these purple items are miserably small - not to mention the annoying crafting mission returns that fail. I think if we are paying a subscription and our companions are level 50 for crafting there should not be any failed missions!! Come on SWTOR bring us back to what we used to enjoy instead of how unreasonably difficult the system has become. I personally know many dedicated SWTOR fans who have left because of these ridiculous oversights.
  7. My level 50 crafting toons often come back with failed missions. What a waste of 13mins when I'm trying to get purple items. I truly wonder why I continue to bother with this game after being here from the beginning. Some things just don't make sense!!
  8. Its a crafter's nightmare. You've heard what people are saying so change it. I've subbed for 8 years and I'm about ready to quit!!
  9. Hi Guys, I know you will have your own pet hates but here are my few that I think are worthy of being fixed or corrected. * Cannot directly pm any character that has a special symbol in their name. You have to search for their guild then locate the person to then right click and pm them. This needs fixing. *Guild recruiters have a long drive getting out of spaceports to be able to quick travel or return to guild ship, because travel is not allowed in the port. This is just a silly limiting feature and really needs to be changed. *Why oh why when I close my Cargo Bay does my Inventory have to close too!! 9 times out of 10 I am still using it to sort things out. So annoying!! *New content has been added to swtor but we still have the same limit on missions in our log. Im continually deleting missions that I have to re-pickup after. Give us a higher limit please!!! Go ahead and add yours guys. Cheers.
  10. Hi all, Im a first time guild master and id love it if we had better recruiting packs and perhaps a guild announcement channel. Its hard to get my guild messages across with so many members chatting. Id also like a guild flag or something that could stand beside me when im on planets recruiting. The ability to cut and paste a recruitment ad that lasts between planets would be so helpful. Id love to hear all your ideas too. Cheers.
  11. Well the VPN didn't do anything. I guess that confirms that the issue is a server one and not from my side. Any other suggestions before I cancel my sub?
  12. Thank you for the advice. I am going to try a VPN service and see if that helps. I agree its like double paying, but it might help me continue playing the game I love. Fingers crossed.
  13. I've been a loyal subscriber since the beginning but have had increasing lag problems since the server consolidation, which removed the Pacific server - something I think is necessary for the players in my part of the world. The lag is so bad now that I cannot play in a team at all for fps, ops, etc, so I spend my time just crafting, when I'm not dcing. Now before you all jump and say that its an issue at my end, I would like to add that I have no problems with lag on any other MMO I play and from what I can see on the internet, I am not the only one complaining about this problem with SWTOR. I am at the point of seriously considering cancelling my subscription which would be a loss for me and a loss for SWTOR as I have spent a lot of money with them. This is an issue that needs serious attention if the game wants to retain the dwindling community is has. I'm open to any suggestions that aren't insulting :-)
