  1. Anything that helps show pricing trends is good imo, a favourites list makes sense and the percentage indicator of price fluctuation for a given period of time would be very welcome. Most auction / trade solutions for MMOs offer a means of showing trends, or allow this through UI add-ons so as to reduce price-gouging and monopolisation of particularly popular items. Sure, it still happens in those games but it isn't as extreme as we can witness in SWtOR. Bring it on, it adds an incentive for people to use the GTN and feel like they can trade competitively and effectively.
  2. About Me: Nick: Entilzah Class: Scoundrel Realm: Red Eclipse (EU) Side: Republic Available: Most days 8pm-midnight GMT Helpful: Yes/No I also have an Empire toon that's working through the missions leading up to this H4, also on Red Eclipse server. Drop me an in-game mail if I'm not online, often switching between alts levelling up crewskills or running FPs/warzones.
  3. Just to make sure all bases are covered, yes I've applied the legacy perks to my toon and can see them as active in the legacy character perks window.
  4. Seems like a somewhat plausible assumption, though in reality the description of the command legacy perks are quite explicit in stating that their increase is cumulative with other boosts to command experience. If it does indeed turn out to be the case that these legacy perks don't add on to other command experience boosts then 2 questions arise: Why sell the command bundle at this point in time when it's unable to offer any benefit until 5.2 is released? Why bother including command experience booster packs along with the legacy perks in the bundle if the legacy perks won't work with those command boosts from the same bundle?
  5. I purchased the Galactic Command Starter Bundle from the cartel market, expecting to see my CXP gains from each boss kill and mission completion go up from 70 CXP to around 77 CXP due to the accumulated 10% bonus with all 5 legacy unlocks applied. Well I still get 70 CXP per boss kill or mission hand-in. It's been a day since I purchased the bundle and applied the unlocks, still no change to CXP gains. What the frell is the point of these legacy unlocks if they don't do what they say on the tin?!? Complete waste of cartel coins, DO NOT waste money on this bundle.
  6. Absolutely. I'm on the Red Eclipse server and there are times when queuing for warzones or GSF means finding something else to do for a couple of hours until it finally lets me in. Maybe it's different when queuing in a group, queuing solo takes forever to get in no matter what it is I opt to do.
  7. Weird, noticed my matrix cube was gone when I returned late last year and this explains it. Just a shame that the matrix shards were never returned to me. Support ticket went in but the response stated that assembly chambers were no longer accessible and that I couldn't get a matrix cube any more.
  8. Grand expanded dye module experience pack was what I thought after I'd opened 5 of them. Glad to see your very first item was also one of the plentiful expanded dye modules!
  9. I'll be the first to admit that I don't see the point in skipping all the exploration quests - they add to the overall story within the game and increase immersion in this fictional universe. I'm glad that my choice of playstyle lets me explore story options that might not be available if I chose to skip a load of content, but then that's partly why I play the way I do. Each to their own, aye mate!
  10. I cited a handful of flashpoints and 1 warzone - handful in this case is less than 5. As for the H2+ missions they're easily solo-able by any class with a companion so there's no excuse for missing out on additional story content that is often fundamental to the overall planet story missions. Now the H4+ missions on the other hand... Haven't done a single one of those. I'm sorry you didn't like my "other side of the coin" experience of the situation but please understand I am not trying to say your opinion is wrong. I merely pointed out that I too was concerned with the new experience but I've seen enough of the new levelling experience now to realise that my own initial perceptions were ill-founded.
  11. My Sith Juggernaut is 2 months old, just hit lvl 70 a couple of days ago. He's at Dark IV, only 3k away from Dark V, and I'm still only on chapter 1 of his class story. I've achieved this by doing class / planet missions, exploration missions, H2+ missions, a handful of flashpoints, 1 warzone and 1 galactic starfighter battle. When I say I'm still only on chapter 1 of my class story I don't mean I've skipped a lot of it, I mean I'm literally still only at Alderaan in terms of planetary progression. Everything people have cited as giving light or dark points applies to my progression - killing mobs, conversations (without specific light/dark choices), completing any type of missions, crew skill missions (and not to excess as some prior posters have suggested needs to take place), to be honest I've not felt like I've had to farm dark points at all. I'll readily admit that when I rolled this new toon I was a bit concerned about the 10k points needed to reach tier I. When I hit tier I after only 3 planets' worth of missions I realised my concerns were ill-founded.
  12. I think the web site should pick up on regional settings for your computer - I'm in the UK and it displays the prices for expansions, subscriptions and cartel coin purchases in UK pound sterling (£). Just checked my online banking and the payments are also deducted in £ pounds, unlike other game subscriptions where it shows the US <-> UK conversion rate and original price in $ US dollars. Stands to reason that the web site might offer the ability to purchase in Canadian dollars. Might be worth checking your computer's operating system is set up for Canadian regional settings instead of US, then try visiting the cartel coins purchase page again.
  13. Just a thought, while there may be concerns about having too many NPCs in a given area hence Bioware managing this by moving the NPCs to the actual locations, maybe the ship's console can offer lead-in missions pointing players in the right direction? Like others have said, it's a shame to 'hide' content away like this but it may have been for legitimate reasons. So making more use of the ship's console makes perfect sense to me as a stop-gap solution.
  14. First time I got something other than vehicle parts or disturbed a mob while using the seeker droid on Makeb and I get a purple secure crate, item roll level 55 - sweet! Open it all excited expecting a piece of armour or something useful like reputation tokens but instead I get 100 credits. A while later I find another. Somewhat suspiciously I open it, and again - another 100 credits. Doesn't seem like it should be so little. Did some research online and found mention of people getting planetary commendations and as far as I know they're obsolete now, right? If that's the case any chance we can get some worthwhile loot in these crates please?
  15. Is that all they contain? A piece of cosmetic armour? I've been saving these up since returning to the game late last year, waiting for when I get past Shadow of Revan content and onto the KotFE/KotET content. Is there a list available that shows the possible contents of these boxes so I can find out right now if it'll be worth continuing to save these for when I can use them?
