  1. I'm just going to keep this short. Are we ever going to get the option to ditch the Alliance Alerts we don't want to do? Like telling the specialist that you have not interest in pursuing that lead or refusing the mission and it actually disappear? I ask because I got three that I don't do anymore. The one that requires PVP, the one that requires you fight in the Arena, and the one that requires crafting materials and the Rakghoul Event. I don't care for or enjoy any of that stuff. I'd love to be able to tell them that I'm not interested and they disappear from the list. Or at least when 6.0 comes out, the time to do them has expired? I suppose that would work too. Also, I used be able to abandon the Iokath Op line that they just thrust upon you like everyone wants to do it. Which I don't. I have no interest in Operations. Thus, it just sits there "untracked", but I still know it's there and I won't do it. So it'd be nice to be able to abandon it or at least let it fade away after reaching a certain point. Meh
  2. I too am a Solo Player. Back in the day when the next KOTOR was announced to be an MMORPG, I was one of those who railed against it on the BioWare Forums (I cant remember if it was called Social Network back then or not). Regardless, I wasn't buying it. And was very disappointed with the direction BW was taking the series. Fast forward to the game going Free-to-Play, I decided to give it a try. I had a better internet connection by that point and if I couldn't get anywhere by myself, I hadn't invested any money into it. I was very much surprised because it was nothing like my EQ, EQ2, and DDO days when you couldn't do much by yourself and you wasted a lot of time trying to get groups together...and I hated raiding too. Well, it wasn't but a few days after playing SWTOR F2P with my first character that I decided to subscribe to the game. I was very happy with how much I could Solo. And I've been a subscriber ever since. I went from hating the idea of the game being an MMO to it being my favorite game. Despite the lack of content updates of recent years, I'm happier now as a player (now that I can do some Flashpoints in Solo Mode) than I was even back then. The question of the game's future does not make me happy, however, and knowing that at some point I will no longer be able to play it saddens me. Now, currently up to 26 characters and going, I can say that while I do take breaks from the game to play other things from time to time, I always come back to SWTOR. I enjoy playing my characters through their stories. I even like this Command Rank system they got going. It's allowed me to get the gear so I can even solo the Star Fortresses on Veteran. Something I was unable to do at one time. I am still a subscriber and will keep playing SWTOR solo for as long as I am able to access the game.
  3. All depends on who I am playing. I've killed some with some characters while letting them live with others. I don't consider myself to have one story when I feel each character has their own. My first Inquistor for example, has killed nearly everyone he deems has failed him or simply didn't like/had a use for. While my first Knight has tried to keep everyone together and alive. Other characters have this mix going on. I actually have 26 characters, but a few aren't that far yet.
  4. It would be epic. Only, without the nudity and language that the GoT series is known for. I don't want that stuff in a Star Wars film. Frankly, to me it would ruin it.
  5. No matter if its controlled or not, it's annoying. Sometimes the message stays there even while in dialogue or cutscenes.
  6. That's true. I got a "Prototype Dreadnought Cruiser" out of one. Still, you have to realize early on when to put the brakes on, because that can get out of control quick if you aren't careful. People who really want those rare ships are better off saving up and buying them from other players. I got a stockpile of lootboxes in that game just piled up in the bank because I just don't want to spend anymore money on that game. Things like that are a money sinkhole. I don't buy crates in this game anymore either. I got plenty of cosmetic stuff to go around now. Especially after KotFE crates from the specialists. I save my monthly CC for collection unlocks now.
  7. Maybe someone ought to copy & paste all the replies into an OP there.
  8. This is true, but the content (I play on PS4 with that game) kind of comes at a crawl there too. It also has the worst "lootbox" system I've seen. You can stockpile a ton of those things because they drop like candy, but you have to pay real money for a key to open them unless you're stupid rich in-game-wise and buy them off others.
  9. Yes, that is pathetic. The returning companions deserve far more than that. Especially if they were romanced.
  10. It really doesn't have to be Empire vs Republic in that sense as long as we are talking class centered chapters. Something like that is better than a one size fits all story. If they were to continue with that pattern I'd say they need to make it so each class is properly represented with appropiate dialogue options so that the choices of what's being said makes sense for them. Cookie cutter might be fine depending on what's going on/being discussed, but doesn't work in some areas. New class based chapters would be better than what we've been getting. I've often thought it would be nice to replay the your class stories from the beginning of the game like we can with KotFE. There are just moments in the class stories that are priceless! Sure we can play those through with new characters, which is what I've been doing now (up to a total of 24 characters so far), but replaying them with the same character would be better if that is what someone was after. After they wrapped up the current story arc, I would pay for an expansion that brought us back to having seperate class stories of new content. That is what I believe would really turn things around. I sadly don't see it happening with Anthem being their new baby, but that is what I truly believe would benefit the game and players. When you think about all the money players shell out on this game, they could do it if they really wanted to. I understand something like that would take time and larger team than they got going now, but it would be worth it.
  11. Yeah. Me too. But SWTOR will be the last thing to get my money as far as EA/BioWare is concerned. I'm firmly committed to that now. So I'm just going to ride it out till the end and enjoy playing my characters' stories till I cannot anymore.
  12. What can they do to turn it around? Return to type of content we received in the first three chapters of the game. (Mostly the class based stuff.)
  13. While I'm for nearly anything at this that would get them to invest more in SWTOR, I just don't see it happening as a result of Anthem doing well. Most likely EA would use that as an excuse to shoot for more material like Anthem.
  14. It may take some heavy flood waters to make it rise of that hill. I just hope by the time it does its in time to do some good. Won't hold my breath though.
