I think its more likely Palpatine is trying to learn how to survive for ever like the Emperor from SWTOR attempted, this ancient history he may have read about and started learning about how the ancient sith did it.

I literally just finished chapter 9 and didn't realize something was bugged and did not see that option in the Cantina scene. I guess this character is doomed now which bites. I made this character specifically to make that choice.

How do you get this now?

I have a surface pro (the first one) and it actually runs the game better than I expected. I was most impressed. The best settings I have was setting it to 1280x800 on my 1690x1050 external monitor. I get about 50-60 FPS. I play PVE and Galactic Starfighter. Shaders: Low Textures :High Texture Atlas:High Anti Aliasing: None Anisotropic: High Visible Characters: High Grass and trees have to be off or set to low in certain areas. Shadows: None Vsync: off

The rebels briefly dropped the shield in one section to let them fly through. It was mentioned in the movie.

Currently they are in some kind of format that the game uses to store the data in. Not accessible with out some kind of third party tool that can extract them. I'm not aware if anyone has developed a tool to extract those as of yet. Easiest thing to do would be to grab a sound recording program, and just record the sounds in game and then clean it up.

I have my alienware m11x r3 running windows 8 with SWTOR, no issues. SWTOR was a fresh install after the Win 8 upgrade. Currently runs as long as I do NOT turn on any compatibility options and run as admin.

Well it would be nice if they let us use what we are certified for. Some of the certifications call back to the PnP RPG which kotor and kotor II used more fully.

Armor would be superior to dealing with the aliens. More advanced life sign detection. Acid may still be a serious threat though. Also sheer numbers need to be considered.

What kind FPS increase are you seeing? Or is this an increase in loading times your getting?

Sorry, Your not going to be able to save anything into the RAM, unless you leave your PC running all the time. When you shut down everything in RAM goes. Thats why we have Hard drives which are non volatile. The RAM is volatile, with out the power it goes up in smoke.
