Easy as this: Everyone agree to a server. Everyone agree on a side, either Republic or Democrat. (white meat/dark meat etc.) Exchange names with each other so you can find them in game. Enjoy! There's no such thing as stupid questions, just stupid people

You can have cross factions on a server, like: 4 Republic 4 Democrat on a server, you just cannot send items or cash to the opposing faction.

It's the exact same thing with WoW and other games. Not sure of any hack around for telling windows to keep SWTOR in the forefront. Only software I've ever seen that run in the background are audio and video players.

Forget about whether the authenticator works between WoW and SWTOR. I just want to know how it can access other people's bank accounts!

Pre-ordering the game does not guarantee you 5 days of early access, just like buying a new Corvette does not guarantee you to be a better driver. This means you can't blame Chevy because you suck at driving. Bioware does guarantee you access on the 20th. I dislike it as much as anyone else, that that's life. People have waited years for this game, a few more days will not kill you.

You were able to do it Beta, so most likely yes. But you were not able to mail items/cash to the opposite factions, even if it's your alts.

Once the name of your character gets deleted, the server opens that name up to anyone who wishes to take it. But the chances of someone else at the exact same time, and on the same server wanting your character name is going to be slim. It should take you less than a few minutes to delete and create a new character so you should be fine.

That is a very good idea Frak, I've had my fair share of alts on other games. I had fun playing all the different classes yet never was able to master any of them. One of the biggest issue I see about this is that, in today's world of instant gratification, people want an alternate choice and they wanted it yesterday. It would be nice for Bioware to reserve a few servers with your idea to bring the players closer to each other.
