  1. The alliance system is actually a fun concept, i don't mind it, even though it is a grind it doesn't feel like one, But I like many at this point play many alts, I think it's safe to say most of the player base does at this point due to no more operations. Make the alliance specialists levels/influence legacy wide so that you're not trying to do the grind on 8+ characters. The fact that it's not legacy wide, even makes doing it on one seem very daunting just because it feels like a waste of time since there's no reason to have a "main" now. I'd also like to suggest making companion gifts way easier to give, Reduced casting time, or casting time removed all together, Or a method to exchange multiple gifts at once for larger reputation. The current design is just not fun to sit and click gifts for 20mins while you watch a movie. Mechanics like this where you stand around and click the same button are just not fun, and i think should immediately be addressed/redesigned when it matters, which it does majorly at this point, not 6 months down the road. These two changes are the biggest changes i'd love to see soon.
  2. Recently just leveled up new characters with a friend. I've been playing SWTOR for a long time, sometimes with a few months off breaks. I have 16 level 55+ characters. So i'd say i have a good experience from leveling characters. This was the first one i leveled since the 4.0 patch. My friend on the other hand only really played at launch and quit a few months after. One of the biggest complaints he has, and i agree with him on is the difficulty being incredibly easy. He dosen't even care to put all his abilities on his bar or hotkeys, Every end of chapter boss, or boss in general is a snoozer. Could literally be done with your elbows. Whatever that system is that lowers your level to the planet your on has to be broken or something. Level 40, You go to drommund kass to kill a darth council member, But the planet is like, what level 15? So the mob, and you are level 15, but yeah, not really. Because he gets like 3-4 shot, before you finish a rotation it's over and your just like huh? Some fight that was, Same with the final boss you fight. Return to korriban. Level 12 zone, level 12 boss. all that build up, all that storytelling and the guy literally falls over. At the time it's not even like i'm max level or geared well. I'm 47, with level 40 mods/armorings. I remember when the game launched, atleast the final bosses were a semi challenge and you had to actually use a cd or two. Hell i remember people needing Help with them. I understand the need to reduce there difficulty, and ultimately the encounters are meaningless at the end of the day. But i gotta say, there is something way more rewarding story wise when the bosses are more challenging then being able to auto attack them dead. Obviously the companions make a huge difference now, but i wish that wasn't the case. I'd like to suggest some sort of "Heroic" Story mode for leveling. Where the bosses are actually a challenge. I want to die on some of the boss fights on planets, end chapter bosses etc. i want to feel like they're actually tough and it's a challenge. I want to feel rewarded for actually killing them.
  3. "The justice" Assault cannon Weapon (random world drop) Is pretty much the best sounding Assault cannon out there, and is incredibly rare, and not even listed for sale on some servers. Please add another assault cannon to the game that uses this sound file, and is slightly more obtainable please < Sound of it.
  4. Cool, Thanks. A few of the books you mentioned were on my list to check out as well. I hope they write a book following the darth bane trilogy. I'd really like to know the details of what happens to each of them!
  5. Loved the series. Haven't been able to find any information on these questions so thought i'd try here. Is there a book after the trilogy? following If there is no book after, is there any word that there will be? If not, is there any information on what's happened to these people/how they die, etc? Going to be listening to the Revan audiobook shortly, is there any other good one's out there you'd suggest?
  6. I'd really like to see some of the old not currently available armor sets available again through the Cartel market, Like the Battlemaster Marauder armor and Champion armor, These old sets are some of the best in design i personally think, and i would definitely purchase a set for my warrior, as i'm sure other's would too. Just make it Orange/modable. This can't be much work as the models are already in the game, so i'd think it'd be pretty easy to add, so it's Low amount of work for big gains! Going forward, i think all armor sets that get phased out should be just added to the Cartel market for people that prefer them. You could add them for half the cost or something compared to the new ones you come out with, or whatever. Just please add them so i can purchase a set or two Please and thank you! Good luck on the ROTHC launch, Can't wait to play.
  7. I had this same thought, about Rakata dropping in HM Flashpoints. I think it's a good idea, but another question that arises is, What about the operations? What incentive would there be for people to Run HM EV/HM KP. Same for SM Denova and every other operation difficulty that drops Rakata gear. So i think they'd have to re-itemize bosses. Hell, or not. I'd love all my companions to be wearing Rakata gear since it'd drop so much. I just don't think it's as simple as changing flashpoint loot to drop Rakata. But on that note, i'd still love to see it happen in some form. This would also be a better platform for people to enter higher end raids, allowing people to get more involved in content!
  8. So it's 30% from the class mission perk, and the boosters are 25%, That would make it 55% yeah? Would that be enough to keep you leveled per planet? I kind of don't think it would be. Maybe i'm mistaken.
  9. I have every character 50, legacy level 50, etc. But some of the classes i really love the story for, and really would like to play through and experience the story again, but without it feeling like a grind of either Warzones, or side quests. Side quests were cool the first couple times. I've leveled via only Class quest + space missions + warzones with some of the legacy exp perks, but it ended up being slower, and way more grindy. I'd really like a method to level a character via only class missions, to experience the story line's of some again. Maybe something like, If you have a 50 of X class, you get 100% more exp towards the second character of that class or something? I Duno. You could disable crew skills too if u think people would just level up 1 class to get all crew skills. This would also have people running more flash points for gear, buying more things from the GTN (Companion gifts especially) and keeping planets populated for heroics or other quests if they wanted to do them, etc etc. I know in the cartel market there's EXP boosts, Is it possible to level a character to 50 purely via class quests with the Legacy class quest perk + Exp boosts + subscription mode? I think if people want to level up the same class again, because they enjoyed the story they shouldn't be penalized for that, and it should be encouraged, whether via Legacy level perk, Exp boosts from Cartel market, or some other method, i'd really like this to be an option in the game.
  10. I'd love to see just some Simple black robes, Hood up and hood down versions.. Like you see on all the Sith's in the star wars movies (Which seems everyone is suggesting) And also the Imperial fleet's NPC security key vendor's armor/chest piece.. She's got one of the coolest armor sets and it's not available anywhere I would sooo buy both of those easily!
  11. Sith Trooper Armor Looks awesome, would love to see it in game. Along with much more "basic" armor designs.. Like in the movies. A simple black robe.. i would love. - Turn off helm graphic for companions - Unify to chest for companions, so gear/color is matching. - Shared planet commendations for account, so if you have 12 hoth on your IA, and 10 on your BH, you'd have 22 Hoth commendations towards your next char/alt. - Significantly reduced cost of legacy perks, Not sure where these prices came from, but you already worked to build your legacy level, Paying for something you already worked for is silly Not really a quality of life fix, but an interesting addition regardless. Solo/Duo Dungeons or challenges. Taking this from Witcher2 but even if it's just an arena setting, where you are challenged by various mobs, Jedi's, Sith, etc and are rewarded for it. The challenge continually increases as do the rewards, along with incentive to do it daily, or just when you have nothing else to do.. Just join the arena and battle some encounters until your ready for something else.. Solo arena is a must have, Group arena is obviously doable too. Idea needs to be refined, but i think there's something to it. At least, solo dungeons would be easier to implement.. Just Something different then the "norm" of MMO end game, which is Pvp, flashpoint equivalent and raiding. This Concept is something like, those "Ring of blood" type quests From WOW, but those only had like 5 encounters, and you did them while leveling. They were always the most fun part for me. This system would be unlimited encounters, and you could just enter and leave anytime. I really want something different then the normal end game of either Pvp, or Raids/dungeons. Make it very challenging too, i want it so that once you get to a certain "Tier" you really need to strategize and think about what you do. Anyways, this is so easy to add in, since it's part of the star wars culture.. Hutts and there pits/arenas to test ones strength/make bets on, etc!
  12. I think you need to look at yourself to see who's misreading into it. The Twitter response clearly states that he's in the game, whether he misspoke, or is incorrect is another thing. But the post itself says he's in the game. He was merely being helpful by posting some further details on the subject and what was involved. It's like.. Is it true cupcakes come in all sorts of different colors? "Yes, there is truth to that, >Insert link of different colored cupcakes<" You're the one who's seeing what they want to see.
  13. Urm, Pretty sure i read it correctly. Question was: Is there any truth that HK-51 is now available to find? Answer was: There is truth to that. Then he linked some information about what's involved in the quest. Seems pretty clear to me. Not sure why you're 100% certain he's not in the game.
  14. He's in the game according to this.
  15. Confirming that it is in 1.3.. Conflicting reports, Wonder what's true. I also don't think it would be "highlighted" in patch notes. They like keeping things "secret" for players to figure out. Just like they did with the magenta crystals, until a dev posted a hint about it.
