This is unfortunately true. I recently returned to the game, using a lvl 60 character to start over on a new (non-dead) server where I intended to PVP. I had all sorts of abused thrown at me for daring to show up in a WZ without a fully augmented 208 set, even getting blamed in whispers for a couple of losses. The most notable example was in a hypergate where we only lost by a very small margin. What was extremely ironic though, was that I did nearly a 30% more damage than the fully geared Marauder who was hurling abuse. For some reason it seems that in 99% of cases these players are either a jugg/mara or the rep equivalents... a bit of food for though In the end though, I refuse to let this sort of thing bother me. While it's worse in SWTOR than in some other MMO's, you find these people everywhere. I long since came to the conclusion that if I was going to let this type of thing bother me, my experience in any MMO was going to be a highly unpleasant one. Generally, I would recommend that easily offended and thin-skinned people stay away from any sort of multiplayer game, much less the sort where the outcome of a match can often rest on a single person.

I've seen so many different opinions on this, it's ridiculous. I've seen people say go all mastery, all power, power/critical and critical/alacrity to certain values then the rest in power. In my mild desperation, I'm turning to the forums for some advice. Bear in mind, that this is ONLY for PVP as Arsenal specifically, I could care less about PVE on this specific character. Also, I'm only asking about augments, other than that I like to think that I've got a reasonable handle on the class. What I'm hoping is that someone would explain the optimal augment choice, along with their reasoning for it. So many of the so-called guides just say "take this" without any explanation as to why, even if their opinion differs wildly from everyone else's.
