  1. Your post makes ZERO sense. As this thread is literally the place for complaints about heavy-handed tweaks. Suggesting that people wait for 6.1.1, when it would be too late (which is no doubt why you suggested it) is just comically transparent.

  3. Did you try the repair option on the launcher?
  4. I actually like the change and think it looks better this way with the shoulders. Oh...and rage more, why don't ya?
  5. People who want this should have an option where they have to pay the difference between the two versions. Nothing less. If they're not willing to pay it, then they shouldn't get the armor. It's just that simple.
  6. I just had to quote this, because it was so wonderfully put. Good show, sir!
  7. As a hybrid tank, I've used it a few times before a taunt, and I've never had to retaunt afterwards. Which isn't an insult to or dps or anything. It's just that the threat drop doesn't seem all that extreme.
  8. Yes please! For pete's sake!
  9. For as long as I've been playing this game, I'm surprised at the lack of innovation when it comes to companions once you've maxed out. Affection/Storyline wise. What I wouldn't give for there to be some sort of unlock feature for your companions, to signify that you took the time to go through their story. For example, if you were to target them and then use specific emotes they'd respond in a way that's appropriate for their personality. Or even with a puzzled reaction if you use an emote that they wouldn't like. For example if you were to "/salute" Malavi Quinn, Aric Jorgen, or Elara Dorne they would respond with the same emote back, since they are strong military characters. (For Imperial companions you should use the salute animation that plays when you enable a healer companion's dps stance, which is the same as the regular Republic "/salute" command.) Or if you were to /fistbump with Corso he'd respond in suit, since that's more aligned with his personality. When it comes to those characters you've married, if you were to blow a kiss to them or something, they'd respond to in a fashion that's tailored to their personality. For example Vette saying "HeeeeEEYY....!" in a somewhat sly fashion or Ensign Temple letting lose a slight but restrained chuckle. Another thing that could be done is having their one-liners change as well. With the same goal being met. Having Akaavi say "I will continue to travel with you so long as our interests coincide." when you're married makes zero sense. While this feature could be for those who have maxed affection with their companions, I know there are people like me who have lost a point or two after they've exited a flashpoint, because they rushed along with their responses. Which this is a slight irritant, I suggest such that the aforementioned features would be unlocked when you finish their story. With potential expansions and the potential for their stories to be continued (Mako anyone?) this wouldn't be a problem, because you'd have had to get to that point in their story ANYWAY. TL;DR Specific Emotes that you can use with your companions and different one-liners when you click your characters, once you hit max affection.
  10. Probably just a person who has one non-force parent and one force using parent. Tremel's main complaint is that the academy is accepting anyone who shows even the slightest sign of force sensitivity. Even weaklings. Instead of only admitting those who show strong signs of force sensitivity. I remember saying that such a thought was elitist, and he said "You say that like it's a bad thing..."
  11. Actually, she said "have OR adopt our own little horde" in one of the letters she sends you. It's in the one where she mentions putting Quinn in charge of baby-proofing the ship.
  12. If they did "that", then they'd have to give the same ability to Snipers. Then, because they gave it to those two ranged classes, they'd have to give it to Bounty Hunters and Troopers. Then because all those ranged classes are now able to use all their ranged attacks on the run, then they'd have to give the same ability to Sorcerers/Sages, the force using ranged class. Then carry that same "run-n-gun" mechanic to PvP, where melee classes will be royally screwed. (Not that I care about PvP, I'm just sayin'...) Gunslingers are fine. Maybe you should take a whirl at a commando or merc if you don't like the cover system.
  13. I was a LS smuggler who romanced her. Sometimes I had to pick DS options in order to gain affection, but they were choices that I would have picked anyways. Sometimes if a choice would cause me to break character too much, I would just take the "-2 hit". But I would make it up for it with another less-jerky choice later in the conversation, that she'd like. Which would also fit the mentality of my smuggler. LS Smuggler with Akaavi works better than you'd think. (And I've used Risha like 5 or 6 times. She can type on that keyboard in my ship until her fingers fall off, for all I care.)
  14. Akaavi Spar is my absolute favorite companion on Republic side. Whoever was in charge of her development/creation deserves a raise. The only character I like as much as Akaavi is Vette. Then Gault as a distant 3rd.
  15. You can get between 35%-40% shield chance unbuffed very easily, with all Columi gear.
