I would not assume that that is true. I have not heard getting higher ranked items from reverse engineering only prototype and artifact.

Last night i was slicing and getting 3k-3.5k per lock box in tier 4. Today i unlocked tier 5 and now i am only getting 1k to 1.5k. Any idea What happened?

augment slots are are crafted gear that crits. I have only ever gotten 2 that had augment slots. when crafting an item if it crits it will have a special augment slot. problem is they are quite rare and thus all the augments on the market are around 100credits even for blue ones.
