  1. Just had the exact same thing happen. What I've noticed so far is completing ANY chapter on veteran kicks me to the login screen at the end, but so far hasn't affected the completion being recognised. Unfortunately for chapter 3 despite the mission reward being present it is not recognised as completed.
  2. As noted in the 4.7.1 Known Issues thread this is an error http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=9048071 "The in-game mail for the Shroud of Memory Chapter erroneously states that the Mission was placed in the Mission Log. Players will need to pick up the Mission at the Mission Terminal on their ship."
  3. "simply a text issue" Umm no it isn't. If it was simply a text issue you could continue to complete the achievement by completing the objective. This 'simply a text issue' is preventing completion of the achievement and therefore obtaining the event armor which is intended for use completing the other tiers. And you think it's acceptable to leave this for 3 weeks unresolved during a time limited event? Have you any idea how frustrating it is to see others using the armor to complete the event because they happened to complete the achievement at just the right time while it is unobtainable for an extended period during a time limited event for others?
  4. Thanks. Of course I'm frustrated I didn't do it already, but I wasn't in a rush as couldn't complete that tier anyway with the final chapter not being out. Now the chapter is out that part of it is broken :/
  5. Sigh, what is it about the internet that somebody always has to be rude. I've been checking developer tracker every day since the issue occured because it put a halt right as I was in the middle of completing that tier. Not seen a single acknowledgement, never mind a response about the issue. Umm that about a completely different issue. Says who? Please point me to the relevant response from the developers as I must have missed it. Once again, having a clue what you're talking about will help you greatly in life And not being unnecessarily rude to people will also help greatly in life. It appears you got mixed up with a different issue. Making a mistake is human, but doing so while being rude about it just makes you look foolish.
  6. Not necessarily correct. It depends if the issue is server side (i.e. a database problem) or requires a client side patch. In the case of the issue above if the client is simply referring to an invalid part of the database it may be resolvable by a database update during maintenance.
  7. Very frustrating to see not an even an acknowledgement of the Depths of Manaan issue - when I initially saw this in the Developer Tracker I hoped this was what the maintenance was for. It isn't some edge case affecting a tiny number of players doing something unusual in game. This a core activity for a current time limited event that affects the ability to obtain the armor that is an integral part of the event It's takes barely any effort to at least acknowledge an issue such as this, but failure to do so gives a very poor impression - namely that the people behind the game don't care.

  9. Strange to see this because I remember being impressed the other week how long we had gone without maintenance - it was something like 3 weeks prior to the recent chapter. Even with the more recent maintenance since the chapter release it still averages out to less than weekly which is very standard for an MMO. You need to look at the longer term than the week or two after a patch - once again more frequent maintenance after a patch are pretty standard for an MMO. And in any case it's bizarre to see this - as frustrating as maintenance can be, I'm sure most players would rather put up with the inconvenience to see issues fixed.
  10. This is frustrating. At least before there was a workaround - this is much worse. I wish you hadn't touched it. I decided to wait for the full XP armor set before levelling the other characters for the legendary tier. First I had to wait for the last chapter, now this is broken. Would be it be possible to get the full xp armor set sometime during the event please so I can use it as intended for levelling the characters for the legendary tier? Thanks
  11. So sorry for the delay, sods law I reply and then can't get on for a few days. I have now created an imperial character name is Zevies so would appreciate an invite if you see me on or I will look out for those names you mentioned. Thanks! Edit: Noticed Ketus online who has sorted me out with an invite, thanks!
  12. There were a couple of separate things. Very early on there was a tech issue reattaching keys as you say. But also until the changeover in 2015 they decided only subscribers could attach mobile security keys (although they remained attached if your sub ran out with one attached). People were caught out when they changed phones while not a subscriber and found while they could remove their existing key they then couldn't reattach. But anyway all that is historic now, any type of account can attach any type of key at any time.
  13. Thanks for the head's up. Just retested after seeing your post and indeed it looks like the old authentication protocol is authenticating again at last. So physical key and old mobile app users should be fine again. Game on for those who haven't already used the workaround!
  14. As i've mentioned a few times already, as Bioware have given no indication they intend to stop supporting the physical security key there is no reason to think we shouldn't be able to reattach the physical key once this all blows over. Obviously there is always the outside chance they could suddenly come out and announce they are no longer supporting the physical key, but then you'd have to swtich anyway. I don't think so, I've replaced keys before and it's never created a problem with the security key grant.
  15. Sigh, did you even read the quoted section before you hit reply? That was who I was replying to, read for yourself, he specifically was concerned you can only remove a security once for some reason. But in any case, what you said is also incorrect. Of course you can re-add a security key. You re-add a physical one, or you can re-add the new mobile one. The only thing you can't do is re-add the old style mobile security key once removed.
