  1. Killing people in 2 sec is just isnt posible against full geared top tier players on rankeds. plus proc relics are way OP than activatable ones, since their cooldowns are way different, i remember now you could use adrenals in pvp, but we are in a different game now than what it was before, classes are way harder to play now.
  2. Currently, nobody experiences the cycle neither, i don't think thats the best possible solution
  3. They cannot even make game Night/Day cycle, make Open World PVP viable or allow us to even swim because the engine is really bad. TLDR WoW engine>GW2 engine>TESO engine>SWG engine> Pentium IV> Atari> Microwave> Calculator > Pencil> Fried Potatoe> Raw Potato> Swtor engine.
  4. WoW>GW2>TESO>PentiumIV>Microwave>Calculator>pencil>Potato>Swtor engine
  5. Any chance we will ever get trinkets (the 3 items that are not considered armor but give you stats) that can be activated and heal-stun an enemy-slow an enemy- increase our dmg- or anything related? I mean not the ones that proc, but trinkets that you can decide when to use or not (activatable?) In other games, crafting professions allow you to unlock sort of trinkets that are helpful in pvp, increasing your dmg or making a funny thing to your enemy, such as stun them, slow them, disarm them or jynx them becoming a small murlok (ewok?) incapacitaded. I know it has worked in that other MMO were you could transform your enemies into chickens/murlocks/funny stuff I just wish we had those trinkets in game.
  6. Don't get me wrong here, imperial fleet is quite awesome (imho a bit boring and repetitive but still impressive). Nevertheless, republic fleet looks like if it was taken from the Alien movies (??) Despite the horrible art, there's the simplicity on the design, each of the fourth areas are a copy paste with one or two additional things- We all know the republic fleet was the last thing the original team did before launch, and they didn't put much effort into it, just have to take a look at the reflections to see the imperial fleet, but i think we all have waited more than 2 years for a real main city. Tatooine could be an option, just add a few pvp terminals, some crafting/gathering trainers, a tatooine teleport and thats it. I mean, its the biggest planet out there and it even has its own foodcourt and its own cantina
  7. amazing game, i enjoyed it a lot for my trial at the begining, crafting was amazing (to the point i learned, i didnt master it or anything, i was casual) I remember i loved killing animals and exploring there, somehow i dont get the same feeling in swtor. French game, and amazing...btw, are you french?
  8. These are examples to mmo standards imho, not necesarily appealing to everyone but they are present in almost any mmo after 2003
  9. This is the only answer you need. Game didn't have the success EA wanted despite the massive hype. It almost died at some point, then it had to go f2p to stay alive. Things went alright and currently seems they are getting some profit, not the profit they expected back in 09, but at least its better than what happened to warhammer. This rollercoaster that is swtor caused a lot of trauma in the players that wanted the game to succeed, some hate the game for how it "betrayed" their expectations, some others deny that anything bad happen and just focus on the present, and some others are fanboys.
  10. Just to make a small comment here since one of the posters said something i respectfuly disagree with, there are MMO standards, and they are not restricted to being massive and multiplayer. IMHO the trinity is one of them, swtor, even though tried to step outside of it, couldnt do but remain on that pvp/pve system. Crafting/gathering skills are a must as well, and among them theres a few swtor lacks (cooking/fishing) that are present in the majority of their competitors and they havent get rid of them or stop updating them....Blizzard i.e. still makes "silly" recipes for cooking and keeps updating those secondary professions with every expansion. Different mechanics other than regular Walking/sprinting such as mounts/flying mounts/swimming are also a feature that most games have, and somewhat if not there, would make you feel somethings missing... Just my 2c
  11. I dont think its just me here. When someone makes a comparison between swtor and other mmos (no matter how fair this one is), either gen chat or general discussion, there's always a group of people that will try to discredit the OP argument simply saying "go play that other mmo". Comparisons are good cause they open a number of possible improvements for a game. Been a Vanilla player i can trully say, had swtor never received critics and become subject of many comparisons with other mmos, we wouldnt have the game systems we currently have/will have (arenas/player housing/spacepvp/dye system) or the tools this game implemented (LFG is the one i remember). It seems that whenever someone asks in the forums or comment on general chat about some things that should change or that this game lacks compared to other mmos, theres a bunch of players that will attack, not with arguments, but with comments such as, we don't need to be that <insert other mmo name> Game, or "invite" him to play that other mmo. It's really sad to see this happen almost everytime i log and go to the fleet, only to log out and check that the forums/reddit just ran of suggestions as well (even more when the devs intentionally created the suggestion sub forum and began moving every single post that was on general discussion in order to reduce the number of critics/suggestion supporters) It seems that those that wanted "the game as it is" -instead of those that want the best mmo ever- finally won.
  12. when anyone tries to compare this game to other mmo, everyone loses their minds.
