  1. It's not like I walked into the first chapter with a negative attitude. Everything looked good at the beginning but I was more concerned about the stuff in between. But as I said my biggest hope lied and what came after the 16 chapters. But when you run the exact same operations and flashpoints week after week it does sometimes get old which is why I returned to games like Dragon Age and Fallout 4 and even World of Warcraft. I initially left World of Warcraft during cataclysm and didn't go back for Mists of Pandaria. Up until late last year I was a dedicated Star Wars Old Republic player. Sorry if my first message sounded monotonous and repetitive and maybe it was a weak attempt to explain the pros and cons of holding on to the subscription but that's just how I feel right now
  2. Alright, despite my better judgement, I have kept my subscription active and have come back a few times to play this game, though I have returned to World of Warcraft recently. But seriously, the one thing that has always bummed me out is a lack of new content, and some things they may have given in between chapters, but in my mind it is not enough. So yeah, here we are, Chapter 14, which means we have two more chapters to go. I'm personally hoping that BW believes in "good things come to those who wait" and maybe we'll actually get some new flashpoints / operations once the story ends. Currently I don't like going through a chapter and then being dumped into same old boring content which has been boring for a long time. But I want to believe that the wait is just covering for a timeline / deadline too. Plus there was all the double XP stuff they did. Honestly, I feel they were WAY too generous in that. There's showing a little generosity and then there's taking the challenge away. Plus I hear rumors about "cross-faction", and this scares me more than anything else. If they do turn this into cross-faction, you're basically saying no more Republic Vs. Imperial where the whole game / universe is founded on, and that may very well be the death nail for this. Then again, there are just things I hear about the sequel MMO coming up SWTOR 2, and maybe this year's E3 will shed some light on the upcoming plans. In short, I just have so many things I know, but at the same time I don't know, and maybe a few "what if's" thrown in as well, but that's ust a few little things I wanted to get off my chest.
  3. The animal companions are great, but is there anyway that you guys can make an option available to give them our own names to them?
  4. ::Sigh:: I know how everyone on this thread feels. I started patching yesterday at 7:30 AM. It is now 5:15AM on 10/21 and I am 95.3% done on patching. I never seem to go higher than 512.00KBs though even though I have best package (non Verizon, AT&T & TW btw) from my local internet provider. Ah well, better Netflix & Chill while I wait. Next Chapter of Hellraiser for me.
  5. Is there any way to confirm if we've been getting the rewards for peace of mind? I've kept my subscription active and poked into the game from time to time while playing World of Warcraft, but is there something on the site somewhere or in game that tells us our earned rewards for KOTFE. As I said, I kept my subscription active, but I would like to see my earned rewards somewhere.
  6. I am a little curious about this new feature, but I do have a question about it. Will it be only for your character, or can it also be used to customize your companions as well? Before we had the comp 192 sets, it was fun to customize our companions, so if the outfit designer works for our companions too, that would be great.
  7. This is based on a certain feature that World of Warcraft implemented at the beginning of their Cataclysm expansion. Being a PVP player as well as PvE, I always switch into PVP gear prior to queuing for battlegrounds, but it is a little tedious sometimes equiping every single piece of gear. To simplify this, why not create a interface where we can save preset gear, and so long as it is in our inventory, we just click one button and just like that, everything is equipped.
  8. Alright you guys made your point. Part of it was blowing off steam after all, and I didnt see it fully. And I am a PVPer, so I may have confused fairplay a little.
  9. They could probably make a neutral faction with interesting hybrid classes based on existing ones. It could probably work like the Ebon Blade from World of Warcraft. Character class from this neutral faction has its own starter planet/questline, and at the end of each questline, they basically leave it to the player who to throw lot behind, Republic or Empire. These classes would also have their own class quests, but everything else is how the planets are based on the side you choose. That's how I see it anyway.
  10. Title says it all, any Jedi Knight/Sith Warrior that's holding the ball in Huttball PVP should be disabled while the ball is held. It's too much of an unfair advantage, besides movement impairing purge & pvp movement increase buffs/abilities. Would someone care to back me up on this?
  11. I've often wondered if you guys have thought about expanding the story about Revan further, maybe some kind of flashpoint or a event of some sort to further explore Revan's origins. I think it would be interesting to learn more, or I've often thought about what if we had a story of some sort based on elements from Star Wars KOTOR 2, like who was Darth Traya, how did Nilhus become what he was, just a few as an example. Among that, I think it would be cool to see new planets to visit, although if it came to that, you'd have to make a new expansion. Maybe before Life Day begins, maybe you can make Kashyykk visitable during that time and turn it into a event much like the Gree/THORN/BBA events on top of the stuff that can already be done. I'd like to see more species unlocked too. Kalesh off the top of my head for one. I enjoyed Swoop Racing in KOTOR 1 and 2, and I would love to see it in SWTOR! PvE or PVP, I don't care which. Thats pretty much it at this moment. Finally got those thoughts out of my head and into this forum post.
  12. Heya SWTOR! I've been thinking, Galactic Starfighter has been an awesome addition, and I don't know whats on your radar beyond the Kuat Flashpoint and other things you've mentioned you're going to add. But one thing from the KOTOR games I would love to see added to this game is Swoop Racing, Even if it's PVP.
