  1. Sounds good man I added ya hopefully see you on tomorrow. Editing original post with my usual online hours: I'm eastern time and depending on the day am on anytime between 12pm and 3ish am. Very sporadic work schedule.
  2. My toons name is pattyboy if you've seen me ingame at all. I have played all three jug specs since launch but never played immortal very seriously until lately and I'm loving it (but still learning it, a lot of changes to the tree since I last played it). I'm very easy going but am competitive and like to work with a team that cares about learning from mistakes and getting better. That said, if you or your team members often cry and scream when you lose, don't bother lol. On the other hand, if you don't care at all when you lose, we're probably not a good fit either. But if you take time after a loss to figure out what you did wrong and the other team did better then we might have a fit. Please let me know here or ingame so we can run some matches together and see how it goes. It's still preseason, and that's ending soon so now is a good time to try out some new people. I don't necessarily want to join a guild. If you just have a group of friends that does rated's together frequently that's cool. Or if you have a tank sometimes but need a backup because your tank isn't always on when you are, I'm fine with that too. I just want to get into some team rated's, and all my friends no longer play lol. I have ts3, mumble and vent. I am eastern time and depending on the day I am online anytime between 12pm and 3ish am. Very sporadic work schedule. Thanks for reading, Pattyboy
  3. op is right. Nothing wrong with hybrids. But if you're gonna be guarding, matchmaking needs to recognize you as a tank.
  4. Which relics have you guys been using for pvp? I'm trying to decide between the partisan relic of cerulan nova and the partisan relic of elemental transcendance. The difference is elemental tech damage and energy tech damage. Can anyone fill me in on the difference? Much appreciated!

    NEW pvp warzone

A tatooine urban setting wz please. Like the tatooine map in battlefront 2.
  6. I'm looking for a guild with a lot of active members on every night. I want to be able to get into groups for ops with relative ease. I have done nothing but PVP since launch (although I did all the HM flashpoints for awhile as well), but want to mix things up so am getting into PVE. I have recently run all the ops on SM so far and have had a blast. But pulling pugs together in general chat is quite annoying, so I want to join a guild to make grouping easier. My sniper is 50 and in fully augmented war hero gear. I also have 2 pieces of black hole gear that I got from random drops in the ops I recently ran. I know the general idea of most all of the fights in the ops, and what I don't know I can and will learn very quickly. I have a competitive mindset with a casual attitude. In other words: I play to win, but I don't rage when I lose, nor do I want to be around people who rage when they lose. Also, I can use any of the major VOIP programs, and I do have a mic. If your interested, send me a pm or respond here so I can run some ops/wzs with you and see how it goes. Thanks!
  7. Oh awesome thanks. Its on the Pvp vendor or?
  8. Can anyone tell me where to find the armor set in this picture? http://cdn-www.swtor.com/sites/all/files/en/cb/2013_thumbs/shipment_2/phantom_854x480.jpg Thanks in advance
  9. And I never understand people that whine about quitters... why would you want such a poor quality player such as the one you just described in the first place? I personally like when they quit because it means our team gets a better chance at getting a better player. I can't tell you how many times I've seen someone quit at the first sign of trouble only to be replaced by someone better... we win, I say lol at the quitter in ops, everyone laughs, then we all eat ice cream together. The end.
  10. As someone who mainly PVPs, I am often pretty frustrated that vengeance isn't as viable as rage. It has been my understanding that rage mostly uses force attacks whereas vengeance uses saber attacks. Although rage can be fun, I originally chose Jug so that I could do big damage with big powerful blows from my single lightsaber (not very fond of the aesthetic of dual wielding sabers), but vengeance is pretty disappointing in this regard. Please devs, please listen to this guy. Vengeance needs these changes to become viable in group pvp. Sure we have rage, but I personally would much rather use saber attacks.
  11. Yeah its fun but my point was how long will that last? Im hoping for some more long term incentives for open world Pvp.
  12. Apologies for splitting this into two posts; im typing this from my phone at work and its giving me trouble heh. Anyway, another idea is yet another incentive for open world Pvp in the 2 daily areas we have. But its not only an incentive, it also eliminates an existing disincentive to go out open world pvping. Currently, if I have an hour to play, and im not already totally maxed out on gear, its actually counter-productive for me to go open world Pvp. My main concern is gear progression and open world Pvp doesn't give me any wz comms. So I will definitely spend that hour in all and only wz's. I personally like open world Pvp AND instanced competitive Pvp, and I like to play both in the same sitting. So I suggest that some way to gain comms from open Pvp be added. Maybe you get 5 comms for each kill, 15+ for a base capture(if they get added), etc. Or maybe just add a Pvp daily much like the old illum one to the new daily areas (section x and black hole). And those are my two ideas in a nutshell. I wish I could say more and be more articulate but this phone is a pain. I jusywant to see more open world Pvp in addition to the wz's.
  13. My buddy and I had some good fun open world pvping last night on belsavis with the launch of section x. We had a similar experience when the black hole was fresh. But as time goes on these daily areas get pretty stale as the only real incentive to go there is for pve. I think that black hole and section x are pretty perfect areas for making some good open world Pvp objectives. You don't need anything overly complicated. I think there should be multiple capturable outposts in both the black hole and section x. Whoever owns the majority or these outposts should get access to something useful. Personally, I never have any wz medpacks because I don't want to waste comms on them while im still in the gear grind. Perhaps whoever owns the majority of bases could get a supply drop to the bases they own every 15 minutes or so. This is only one example of the kind of useful items that fighting for these bases could earn you(exotech stims would be nice too, etc.)
