I am currently 7/10 in the current tier of raids with multiple kills of CM post buff, I currently tank with <Fearless> pub side and am looking for a home for my imp toons after the guild I was apart of died. I have tanked for all of 3.0 and would prefer to DPS, however I would tank for the right group if it meant getting 10/10 or even 5/5 ToS. A list of the toons I have currently all have 6 set bonus. PT: min maxed tank set with 204 MH min maxed 192 DPS set (4.75k dps in AP) Merc: min maxed 192 (4.8k IO, 4.4k arsenal) Sin tank: min maxed 192 Juggernaut: 186/192 mix (4.5k in veng) Mara: min max 192 (RIP) I am looking for a guild that is 7/10 minimum. I can take insults, criticism etc, im fine with being cut if I dont perform. Ideally I would like to join as a competent back up or to help fill out a 16m team for the cheevos. I can provide up to date parses for any of the toons listed, but I'd rather tryout and show what I can do in a raid if you are interested in having me. Hey all, I swap to DPS on underlurker because our 7/10 group still can't kill it with 4 DPS, I always get more DPS than even our sniper who mainly AoEs the adds thanks largely to our excellent talents we can spec into as PT/Vanguard. I usually get around 4.3k DPS which is absolute crap compared to every single parse on parsely right now. I usually stand between the first and second add and position myself so that I can "DPS" the boss during his channel by running in and out of the green zones behind the rocks. Is there a better place for me to stand to take better advantage of the close and personal damage? My gear is optimized 192s w/ SB, and my APM with 1 alacrity piece is 47+ so I'm hoping it's not a gear/skill issue. Thanks for your input.

I think these would be nice changes for both DPS specs. These are PVE only, I don't think PVP and PVE Set Bonuses should be the same, heck give PVP players better DCDs with their set bonus at the cost of some damage 2 piece: Supercharged Gas increases all damage dealt by 3% for 20 seconds. 4 piece: Reduces the heat cost of Thermal Detonator or Heatseeker Missile by 3. 6 piece: Autocrit every 60 seconds on HSM or MS is fine. I don't know what else to put here, unless perhaps a straight 15% increased crit chance on unload/blazingbolts. Any thoughts?

I would definitely be interested. My current group is also 7/10 but we have had so many people taking breaks lately that we can usually not field a full group on raid nights. I have cleared 6/10 Rav/ToS, getting to the final phases on both master and blaster and revanite commanders, we consistently get there but we just don't have the DPS to kill the bosses before enrage. I am a powertech, with a little over half my gear being 198s, six piece set bonus the whole bit. I also have a fully optimized DPS set if I need to DPS on lurker at all. If you are interested, I would like the opportunity to trial with you guys, to see if we would be a good fit for each other. Thanks!

We have filled the healer position and are now looking for skilled DPS players, we are looking to recruit one skilled marauder or juggernaut, and one mercenary or powertech. Hey there Kwerty, If you are still following this thread I would like some feedback on my DPS versus my gear level. I can't get above 4.6k DPS to save my life, I've done nearly 100 parses over the last few days and have gotten a really nice feel for your priority system. Here is my gear currently: Aim: 3990 Pwr: 1693 Acc: 99.92 Crit: 320 Surge: 222 Alacrity: 573 This is with optimized mods and enhancements, six piece set bonus, 2 198 implants, 198 OH and 192 MH. I am by no means an expert, but I have had great success with: 550 crit 333 surge 222 alacrity My best parse is 4.7k and I pull between 3.8 and 4.4 depending on the fight. It should be noted that I saw fascinate from zorz on the fleet and basically ripped off his gear, piece for piece, mod for mod in optimized 192s. Cheers, hope that helps.

Hello all, I've been noticing that a lot of the top Powertech players post on these forums and I am looking for some advice. Since the expansion has dropped I have shelved my Powertech Tank for an Assassin and have started playing Powertech DPS for progression and would like some pointers to improve my play. I am currently wearing a mix of 186 comm gear and lvl 178 blues, with the blue ruusan relics with 60% of my gear augmented. My crit is a tad under 25% and I am at 68% surge and 99.6% accuracy. I have included a video of the parse as well as the raw numbers themselves. The Numbers The Video I have seen several posts from Kwerty, Zejim and a few others getting incredible numbers with the spec and I am finding mine to be a bit low. Its probably the lack of gear and set bonus holding me back, but I would like to know what I can do to improve and start pulling those 4.3+ numbers. Thanks a million!
