  1. I do think that an Immortal Jugg PVE guide would be welcomed. I spent a long time setting up a rotation on my toon - it works well. Others may become better if you had the time to write a guide. I play well but can not write a guide.
  2. Check your Windows game folder and client config file. Are they "read only" ? That was my problem before. Fixed now.
  3. In my estimation, this is a game-wide companion issue, not just an Iokath problem. I had 2 different toons running Star Fortress story mode (because a 3rd toon could not load a regular companion for my class.) At some point when changing phases, my loaded companion would just disappear. There seems to be a coding problem. I expect a patch. Or there may have been one since yesterday.
  4. I know players with all BiS gear that complain everyday that the game is "too easy" and "there is no challenge to PVE anymore." The answer is: wear all green armor and trinks then go back out there. That's the challenge. All best in slot gear will make you OP. Also: don't waste time with PVE - go PVP all the way and fight other real people. PVE content is for the new players. To be skilled is to be strong.
  5. There are many threads on the forum about lost Cartel Coins from CM purchases: it may take a few days due to the number of tickets created, but they will be returned. Go into your SWTOR account. ALL Cartel Market purchases are itemized. For example: I purchased a character makeover through my stronghold Appearance Kiosk just before the dreaded rollback. Everything was listed on my account - hair type: x CCs, eye color: x CCs, hair color: x CCs, etc. The account shows the starting Cartel Coins and what remains after each purchase. Submit an in-game customer service ticket with the info showing on your account. A customer service rep. will look at it and refund your CCs ASAP. That's it. Some friends followed these instructions and found that if they made THE EXACT SAME PURCHASES again, the CC cost was ZERO. Just try it. Click on the items that were taken back and check the cost; it may be "0 Cartel Coins". I was refunded my CCs. Others have "repurchased" for zero. Try it out.
  6. Ace Ventura - Pet Detective Sorry, that's just the vibe I get.
  7. Every time that I get a red circle, I hear Mr. Kim (Kim Chan) from "The Fifth Element " telling me "YOU FIND NOTHING !" Dig for an hour, and you are lucky if you can finance the trip to the dig site. But they don't force me to do it.
  8. At least he didn't ask to do "Twilight."
  9. This had me rolling. I needed to look this up to realize that "Baghdad Bob" was also "Comical Ali." To the point, though: Three level 55 stealthed players with max Expertise tricking a lone level 50 player on a PVE server, doing PVE dailies IS NOT PVP. It is called "griefing." It is called "ganking." Notice that I said "on a PVE server, doing PVE dailies." People don't pay EA to experience paranoia. And why should anyone move to a different area (away from possible stealthed players) to enjoy the game ?
  10. The main issue is this: Player B is making a choice for Player A for the time and place that Player A will engage in PVP. As Player B does not pay the cost of subscription for Player A, why should he decide ? If a player is in his home territory (not contested) on a PVE server is doing level 50 dailies, why should a stealthed, level 55 flagged-for-PVP player be sitting in the middle of mobs? The only people that come here to defend such behavior most likely engage in this behavior themselves and don't want the mechanics of the game to change. This is just a game, but such actions in "the real world" bring negative consequences to them - and they know it. So they resign themselves to become e-bullies. The devs could end all of this simply. As things stand now : 1) A player cannot attack or flag another player of his faction with AOE attacks. 2) A player cannot attack the companions of other players. The devs could attach this programming to players in NON-PVP areas. All problems solved.
  11. People, please use the "/sarcasm" handles when describing this as a meaningful change.
  12. I think that I know what the OP is getting at. Two nights ago (a few hours before the server update) my level 55 Mara was waiting to start the H-4 in the Black Hole, Corellia. This is on Harbinger, a PVE server. Three Jedi Shadows stealth and one sits in the middle of a mob that a player is about to attack for his daily quests. Once the Empire player and his companion hits the mobs (with the stealthed Pub in the center, the other two shadows stun lock and burn him down. When I noticed what was going on, I moved my level 55 Guardian to their area near the Torvix building. As these Shadows were now the same faction, I could more easily see what they were doing. When an Empire player took notice of them and moved across the map a new area to finish quests, the Pubs would stealth/follow them to this new area. EASY KILLS FOR THE PUBS. For people like the OP, it 's not as simple to avoid people he can't see. If you expect him to change instances in his home quest-area to finish his quests, you are condoning "griefing." The game's mechanics allow this so it's not a L2P issue. BTW, the shadows did this for close to an hour - my presence was giving them away so they left.
  13. Their betrayal will be dealt with If the goal is to secure a younger audience for some long term plans... Such a plan would certainly alienate the older, more loyal fans. Loyal until THAT point. Remember, The Mouse did bring forth "Tron : Legacy" and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise - then the execs. wasted time wondering if Jack Sparrow was gay. Pardon me - Captain Jack Sparrow.
  14. And now for something completely different ... an achievement for herding Nerfs.
  15. To cheat death is power only one has achieved. But if we work together, I know we can discover the secret. Hey Beni. You nailed down the issue of Vader's suit long ago. Others just don't know it yet.
