  1. He's dead Jim. Ops group just got booted right before second boss in TFB. We are all commiserating in mumble right now.
  2. That's a bit disappointing. There are a bunch of people like me that like to check out the PTS on a regular basis. Even more so in instances like this were there should be a decent player base. I'll admit I wasn't expecting public testing until probably a week or so before 3.0 went live, but none at all is a bit of a let down.
  3. I think most people would agree the credit sellers spam in general chat is bad. /ignoring them wouldn't really work since their chars don't last too long to begin with. I would love to see something like them being put on a temporary ignore list when reporting them for spam. Even if it only lasted until logging off. This would effectively accomplish 3 things. Get them reported, which I'm sure BW wants. It would not take up space on a players normal ignore list and effectively remove a lot of the clutter in general chat players have to deal with.
  4. The first thing I though when I saw this back on page one... http://awesomegifs.com/2012/07/beating-a-dead-horse/ and I'm a CE owner. Seriously why is this still alive?
  5. I know it would be terribly unbalanced. It's called a premade. It has been around for a very long time in pvp before this. If it's not supposed to be that way so be it.
  6. Queuing as an ops group seems to break it up by the 4 man groups. We are often ending up in different battles. If it's 8v8 or 12v12 why not have the ability to queue with a group that size? Is this working as intended or are we supposed to be able to queue with an ops group?
  7. Uhm, then you're doing it wrong. In a pvp match where objectives are required to win, the objectives are just that, required. The fighting IS going to come to you. That's just sheer impatience that would drive you to abandon it. Running off in the hopes of killing someone 20-30 seconds faster. On a second note. Single handedly defending objectives is very satisfying. Beating off 1-4 attackers without any assistance is a blast. I've solo defended objectives an entire match and had just as much fun as one where I am out attacking. I'm not trying to say you shouldn't play the way you want, but you should also consider all the other people whose game you are screwing up. If you don't like the team aspect of warzones you probably shouldn't do them then.
  8. Was talking with a guildie yesterday about this. She and many other people hate items like the galactic party bomb/party instigator etc. Why not add in an item that someone could use in to cancel the effect, a la the train wreck from WoW. I don't mind the party items in this game, but can understand why people do. I know it's not a major inconvenience or anything just, annoying to them, but why not let them get a little satisfaction by being able to stop it.
  9. Yes, I went back and edited in that that is not the board I use with that cpu, and is by no means ideal. The fact that it doesn't make sense doesn't mean it won't work though. Hell people do crap that makes no sense every day.
  10. Yup it is. The mobo will work just fine (used to use that one myself, still have it in another comp). The cpu is great (the one I currently use). The gpu is good, but I personally have never liked the performance of the 50 series of cards. I'd spend the extra $100-150 to get a 7970 or save a few bucks and get a 7870. I'm running pretty much the same setup with the settings maxed out and only run into any noticeable fps drop in very high population areas. As for the people who like to argue AMD vs. Intel. I've got multiple desktops and laptops running various AMD and Intel cpu's. It's six of one half dozen of the other when you boil it down. Each have their own strengths and weakness'. *Edit for a little clarification. I do not currently use that mobo in my gaming rig. Using a m5a99fx pro r2. Like a couple other people have pointed out. Yes that board will work, but no, it is not really ideal.
  11. I'd be happy if I could simply pick my ship. I dislike the trooper ship myself and would never use it and I'm just flat out tired of my jedi's ship. The ability for my trooper to have a BH ship for instance or my jedi to have an agent's ship. I am no programmer but I would imagine that would be easier than giving the ability to decorate as has been suggested. All the same cut scenes and conversations essentially, just in a different setting. You can have just about any conversation in a cantina, why not another ship?
  12. Isn't this pretty much impossible now? Given the latest round of server merges there are players from all over the world on the same server. Player A is in the US, player B is in Australia (for example since they are on opposite sides of the planet), how do you propose to take the server down at night for them?
  13. Actually it's 3 threads. #1) http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=669832 #2) http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=669519 #3) This thread. He got a response from CS on the issue as well in thread #2. He's obviously abused the system which is why they cut him off in the first place. #1 isn't exactly the same, but close enough. Still a thread of his about his poor deleted characters that he has deleted multiple times.
  14. Lol, not really no. My sentinel can and has killed champions and world bosses without Doc. Those were nail-biters. If someone playing a sentinel can't beat a silver or gold without Doc they are doing something seriously wrong.
  15. While not really a specific route Dulfy has a list of the quests, a rating of their difficulty and average time to complete which is probably as good as you are going to get. http://dulfy.net/2013/04/07/swtor-makeb-mission-guide/
