  1. I just assumed they did it to further piss people off about being uniquely dressed.
  2. You'll have fun till you hit cap, and then you will wonder where all the content is, and you will start to notice how little this dev team puts into the game compared to other mmo's... I'm not talking wow, just look at any other mmo, this dev team just doesn't get it. One more ops release then i'll probs end up dropping the game, content takes too long, not great content, bugs don't get fixed, god the list goes on. Trust me hit 50 and you'll see why some of us are so down on the game.
  3. I wish we could customize our gear... ...Course a year has gone by and this is the only MMO that doesn't seem to know how to include this. Hell GW2 launched with more customization options for gear than this games "orange" gear system ever could. Basically don't expect the really good features, expect them to try to drag it along as long as possible til they get their cash shop online.
  4. If you want PvP go into either a Shooter or go to Guild Wars 2. Both have a better system, and are more "equal" for everyone. This game is pve, and casual oriented.
  5. No, this is what kills mmo's. If you re move the need to do old content then newer players miss that content and it seems dead, plus you put people right at the end game. The idea that Rakata is available in the new ops on story mode already pisses me off. I run 2 nights a week in my guild, i'm full rakata, so are my other guildies. We all have blackhole mods that we ripped out. We do no more than 3.5 hours each night (friday/sat) with it usually being around 3 hours ish. So 6 hours a week and you can have EVERY piece in game... that's already casual.
  6. Thanks!! I was part of the Rift community and they had amazing community service rep people. This makes me feel like i'm with them again, nice and cozy. Nice to meet you!
  7. Yeah that's why I'm wondering I don't want to farm more tokens if the speeder won't change... just the sandpeople thing in case they actually add a wardrobe function, and the pet.
  8. Yeah I might just, but I thought they already had variable speed in this game. Could have sworn a mount in game would adjust based on the training speed you had... hmm
  9. Wondering if they are planning on upping the event mount to different speeds based on training? I didn't see a post and I have read here and there over the past few days... if they have answered feel free to link me. Thanks, Saint
  10. LIke to make snap judgements, I was in WoW from Vanilla through Cata. I dropped because all I could do was rage at people. There was no talking, there was yell at people, or just drop group. It was horrible, and the community I had in Vanilla was DESTROYED.
  11. The first reply is laughable. Anyhow, I hope they never add a cross server LFG as it breaks the community. This is obvious and common sense, yet some people don't understand. If you cross server the community is no longer one on a single group... you can no longer punish people and without punishment (that extra layer of anonymity) causes people to act horrible to others. Stealing loot, rolling on none roll gear, taking items, slowing, being rude, yelling, not respecting others. Sure you can get that on a single server, but when that happens, you can also ignore them, and over time that person can't play with anyone. You can even get black lists going to prevent ninja's from joining groups. You add in cross server and it's a free for all. I personally am loving the community on a single server, it's great to be able to know which people I really don't want to talk to or play with, and which people I do enjoy. There is no reason to add cross server, you add just as many dps'ers to the mix and end up with the same queue times anyhow. Don't be an *** to your tank or healer, and you will get more of those player types in the future.
  12. Truth. This is why I don't like tanking for pugs. I love tanking, I'm an awesome tank, and to me tanking is the most gratifying experience. However, everything on that list aggrivates me. I can even ask people to stop breaking cc and they still end up breaking cc. Saying you messed up, and offering advice how not to screw up again should not be an insult. I just ignore or kick players that are being douches.
  13. I'd like to know if there is a set plan (including a launch window) for an Achievement system, or a major overhaul of the Codex system? I'm looking for titles, mounts, pets, points, and tracking of stuff I do in game in an easy to read way, and to allow others to view their progress vs mine. I'd really love some achievement type system implemented!
  14. What augments should I be looking for as a sith assassin tank (pve only). Currently in mostly Rakata level gear. Not really sure which of the augments I should be using, and want to make sure I use the best possible ones. Thanks, Saint
  15. You don't need an event every week or month, that ruins the point of them. They are an event meant to get everyone involved. Every three months or so is good enough.
