So I have brought my tank outa early retirement - since I lvled a few other toons, did professions and the like. I have read this thread and some others... and While some say pvp gear can be used its all absorb gears.... lacks any defence rating so not really useful for hms I guess ? I currently have a Mix of a few orange pcs, 2 pvp parts an some bought epics from the GTN. I am doing belsavis dailies for the mods etc. I still feel a litle squishy ...or it might just be me. I only focus on HM's as I dont have time for raids... I have so far only done BT and BP HM my stats are as follows self buffed :- 17.5k hp 6382 armour rating 39.14% dmg redurction 26.30 Def Chance 28089% Shield chance 31.56 Shield absorb Are these numbersof for the tougher HM's ? Should I aim more def or shield chance etc ? Baring in mind only HM gear avail not Op stuff, what sorta % should I be aiming for ideally ? Thanks for any help

Well at 50 you have 4 companions. Add to that if u took say slicing instead then at 50 ud have the credits to power threw the missions. Just bare in mind while you are generally able to lvl a crafting prof without a mission skill it is more difficult and you lack the "exotic" fabrics, metals etc to make the purple items etc

For a lot of crew skills they are yes, synthweaving according to torhead doesnt have any epic boe's they are all bop. As I said some professions do have epics that are boe. That been said You can make and sell blasters and light sabers... as I said epic bracers are craftable and boe. Then Sytnweaving which has the niche for boots... cant sell them as they are bop.

So wasnt entirely sure where to post this.. After a few days of EA I noticed the population here is still listed as Light. I was wondering what the population is like as this was a server I was probably going to be joining. I am after a Eng PvP Server, Preferably one without a mega high population as I dont want to be Qing forever. Needs to have mature base as well cant stand elitest kiddy *****s. So is this an active server ? I know its EA and too soon to tell, just after a idea I have been following the competitive EU thread, I was just after a more direct reply about this actual server

Biochem Epics are more of a crafter perk like in wow. They arent used and last doube time. Where as standard ones are consumed and last only half the time

It is possible.... Just with Arti been able to make mods that are boe, armstech able to make bracers boe (rest is bop granted).. then arms tech able to make boe epics for blasters etc. It seems Synthweaving is only prof without a boe item ? just find it strange

99% of the crafted Epics are BoP meaning that you have to thin kcarefully about what you want from end game in terms of a profession. I find it personally pretty sad that nearly everything you can make no mater the professions thats epic is BoP. Sure can sell some Blues on the AH potentially... or use gathering profs to get mats to sell etc but thats besides the point. The GTN would be fair more useful if peole were competing for sales. Thus making a more fair market. Anyone else a little disappionted by the amout of Bop items ? Hell I cant even make some shiny armour for my companion.. unless its green or blue Synthweave boots should be bop at least ... as armour mech bracers are boe for example
