You mean that one and only world pvp zone where two important dailies take you so you can get your important gear? Indeed, "overreacting". Not to mention the valor grinding.

Did anyone actually like Taris in KOTOR? It was fine until I got to the Rakghoul where the planet litterally fell on its face. I hated it as a kid, I hated it as a teenange and I still hate it as a 20 year old. Everytime I play KOTOR I install the skip Taris mod so I don't have to play through it. The rakghoul idea has always been horrible.

Why not? To be lazy of course. There's tons of armours and other things removed and the unncessary restrictions they put in place. And no, Mace windu is not dark sided, his fighting style is dark sided though but he managed to "tame" it which just shows how light sided he is.

There more armors, customization options, colours etc in the beta. Bioware put up unneccesary restrictions. Rome ewasn't built in a day is a proverb about patience about building something great. This is solely bad design on the developarts part where they removed or restricted things already in the game.

Ladies and gentlemen, I, the great Celleye, is here to discuss or rather state my opinion is something you Bioware fanboys or people in general have failed to understand. MMO's be it RPGs or RTS or whatever genre you can come up with have one major thing in common: They need to attract players to their game and keep them playing. There's a reason MMO's have what people call "infinite" gameplay and not "finite" gameplay as in a singleplayer game where it ends at one point or another. This brings me to my next point: A vast majority on these forums (Speaking from personal experience) are quite fast to counter-argument people which finds some shortcomings in the game by saying "lolz this is a story mmo you're playing the wrong game lolz bai go play pandas lolz" Here's the thing: This game was announced with having something else no other MMO to date has done: Story. A 4th pillar to the three classic pillars that are exploration, combat and progression (I think). Well what happened? The game clearly delivered on all pillars as we all probably by know. This brings me to my another point: While clearly the story is entertaining (Not the side-quests, they are beyond horrible) it's also finite which means it ENDS, and when it ends the 4th pillar also does until the new content comes in. Now you guys are telling people to go away because they're playing the game "wrong" or that it's a "story-driven mmo" or some other silly arguments. Here's the thing: Story doesn't matter, gameplay does and that's what keeps people playing as numerous mmos have proven before. In fact as long as people enjoy what they are playing they don't give a crap about story (Which countless mindless games and movies has proven). You guys saying it's a story driven mmo or some other silly arguments are coming up for a nasty surprise at level 50 if you think that story matters AT ALL at level 50. It does not amount for anything. At all. Oh there's also another thing I'd like to point out: Stop saying that this game is about the journey and not the destination. MMO's are about the destination and without it they would not survive unless the journey is infinite. (Which it its not in this game) While the level 1-49 is enjoyable in this game in it's own right, it's not what's going to keep people playing. It's level the 50 content. Gotcha? Oh and I've probably read more books, played more RPGs and watched more classical movies than the lot of you so before you come here to defend this holiest of games you should know that little fact. In fact, I've played every Bioware RPG ever made and I've liked them all. (Even the oh so disappointing Dragon Age 2) So this is not some ADD kid writing on how boring story is or that I want more action. This is a realistic outtake on the game. /Puts flamesuit on

That's not my post though. The moderator basically changed my entire post because it was considered "trolling" I responded to another person asking why he didn't name WoW and the nice moderator kept only that part which is out of context.

I never said there was very little amount of content. Read it again. I haven't played Republic but the Empire side is ridiuclous. "I Am sith" "I am the Sith you are looking for" "Fraught with danger" <---- Seriously? They were cool the first 10 times, the 100th? Nope. Please, the story, apart from your class story and some unique quests is quite pathethic in this game. It's the standard MMO quests with voice overs with quickly fades away. It's now about lack of imagination or wanting to grind. It's simply bad. I must admit though some planet storylines like Tattooine and Belsavis were cool but the side quests on this planets were horrible. When it came to these cool quests I always got engrossed in them, but they are very few and far inbetween. I'm a huge fan of story and narrative and this game with all the talks about how story is important and bla bla bla failed me big time. Don't jump to conclucions will you?

No, you don't. Most dialouge choices are the same repeated voice over/line all throughout the game. Your choices never really matter apart from some dialouge lines and you never hear of them again. The only exception is your class story which makes up for a very little amount of the content.

I wonder how Blizzard which at the time had no where near the resources Bioware has at the moment but managed to do it just fine. Excuses.

Nah, it got deleted that it spoke an obvious truth nobody dares to admit. Plenty of constructive and good threads get deleted because they fail to meet the holy standards on these forums.
