  1. I say my agent was worth it. I loved the story and feel of the character it gave me everything I wanted. Both in story and class. I went Operative for my class. Melee dps spec, Heal spec, and the coolest *********** blaster rifle(rakata) in the game (imo). Though I waver sometimes I always think of rolling something else because at times the operative feels broken. Like it is missing skills that compliament my full range of abilities, but, that is for another thread. In short, at the end of the day, when all is said and done I love my agent... and "I'll eliminate any threat to the Empire."
  2. I would change the names of the ACs to: Intelligence Operative: Medicine tree, Engineering tree, and Lethality tree Elimination Operative: Marksman tree, Concealment tree, Lethality tree I.O. make medicine a HoT healer spec and Engeeniering a Burst dps spec E.O. make marksman a burst dps spec and concealment a sustained poison DoT dps spec. Have the portable cover be a high tier, 1(or more?) point skill for the engineer and marksman Have stealth be a high tier, 1(or more?) point skill for concealment (stealth is always a hard mechanic to balance) Make med shield be a sperate ability from shield probe that can be used on a single friendly player i.e. tank This of course is just a broad general idea for a re-design. Please share your ideas as well.
  3. I feel like Im missing something. Why would I unlock a Human? They are already available for each class. Unless unlocking it is what gives you the bonus. (If said Bonus is a sure thing)
  4. If you are a non-human species and are restricted to a faction once you reach 50 you can make that species on any new character regardless of faction and class. What about humans? If I have missed a thread about this please post the link so I can alleviate my ignorance
  5. In the immortal words of Dr. Frankenstein's monster, "FIRE BAD!!!" Now if that thing can learn, why can't you?
  6. Not sure if this has been mentioned before or not. I have not read all of the posts. What if UH/TA was gained and used in the same way it is now but not on a timer. It could only be gained in combat and once combat is over unused UH/TA is lost. Yes this would not allow us to pre-stack before a fight but would make it to where we wouldn't have to worry about a timer on our secondary resource. Great thread.
  7. I like to roll with this build sometimes. It is by no means a kill build. I ues it to harass and run away. The dots work great for Voidstar and Civil War, huttball not so much. During a civil war I was able to defend the generator by myself against half of the republic team. Not by killing them but being able to dot them and not letting them take the objective due to damage break. An interesting build I thought I would share. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#401ZGhGR0kMbZhrrkMbM.1
  8. Level 42 Cipher Agent Dian Cecht (Human) I love the story so far. I thought agent would be my least favorite class to play, but, it is by far my favorite. I played TRP, IQ, and BH. I really enjoy the LS and DS choices. Espcially the LS choices. The LS choices don't make me feel like a goodie goodie. I'm sitting at 7332 LS and 2667 DS. I try to pick the choices that would let me use people as an asset later on, but, sometimes I need to make an example of those who betray me. (Hey I'm still an Imperial.) I do not know the story past Belsavis, I just got the quest to take me there. I don't RP in general, but, I like getting into my character when I'm talking to NPCs making choices. I'm hoping for a story option to stick it to those sith bastards. Through my agents eyes he sees the empire as a stronger version of the republic and feels he works for the people of the empire to protect them and he dislikes the sith very much. It really is all about your personality. To me if I can't get into the story between lvls 10-20 I sell off all me gear and mail all the creds to another toon. Last but not least, Biochem ftw.
  9. Thank you for the replies. I have a 33 vanguard and a 36 Operative. I was wondering if using a blaster rifle would prevent me from using any of my healing abilities. I should have asked: Is there an ability I would need to use that requires I have the cannon equiped (for healing)? I like the way blaster rifles look.
  10. First I will say I'm sorry if this has been addressed already. Does the combat medic spec have to use the assualt cannon? For DPS yes the assault cannon is a must, but, will using a regular blaster rifle hinder me in anyway specced as combat medic. I ask because I think it would look silly and I kind of think the assault cannon is a bit over the top. I was a combat medic in the army for 8 years and I never had to lug around a 240B. Either way I'm going commando just wanna give myself a heads up. Thank you for any replies
  11. Combat Medic 2003-2011. Though I did defect to empire and rolled an Agent But I want to roll another trp. Does the combat medic HAVE to use the assualt cannon? As a former combat medic it just looks silly to me.
  12. +100 DS pts for crushing my soul <----- Op heals
