  1. This is true for the most part, but like someone else said, Harbinger can be very rough for new pilots. There are several premade groups and other 5-ship pilots that run there that frankly make many matches frustrating slaughters if you're on the other end. Even when I've been put on the winning side it can still not be very fun when your premade teammates are getting all the kills and you don't get to do anything. However, if you're willing to rough it out like I did then you really won't have to wait long for matches on Harbinger.
  2. Aww, I feel so sorry for you that you can't perv out and dress Ashara in the slave outfit like every other creeper and lonely guy out there likes to do with their female companions. However will you get your digital rocks off now?
  3. I used to scoff at those who kept saying that this game would go F2P sooner rather than later. I used to have complete faith in Bioware. Now I feel foolish, and after this, DA2, and the ME3 fiasco EA/Bioware is never getting another dime from me.

  5. Yeah, I used to scoff at those who kept saying that this game would go F2P sooner rather than later. I used to have complete faith in Bioware. Now I feel foolish, and after this, DA2, and the ME3 fiasco EA/Bioware is never getting another dime from me.
  6. Pretty much this. Until there's a penalty for this stuff, I'll gladly keep leaving failing warzones until BW implements something to stop me from doing so. It just isn't worth the time and aggravation to stay in a game filled with a bunch of morons who don't know how to do anything except attack the nearest enemy.
  7. Unfortunately I agree with you here. It really is a tragedy of Darth Vader proportions what Bioware has turned into after being acquired by EA. They used to value player feedback and deliver deep, quality games. Now with their EA overlords, they almost completely ignore any constructive player feedback, and treat their player base as just one big cash machine. After seeing what they've done with Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3 and now this game, I'm done with Bioware unless they throw their evil EA overlords into a Death Star reactor, which won't be happening any time soon.
  8. Pretty much this (minus pod racing-anything related to episode 1 is bantha poodoo in my eyes). I absolutely hate the fleet system. What's the point of a PvP server if all the end game content is on the fleet? Why force everyone to spend all their time in cold, sterile interior environments and waste all the beautiful artwork that went into all the planets? Why "fix" PvP when it didn't need any, aside from some balance issues? Until these and other questions get answered in a satisfactory way, I most likely won't be resubscribing any time soon.
  9. I've levelled 4 characters to 50 now, 3 Empire 1 Republic. I've done every flashpoint and op on hard mode, I've pvped to rank 70, and I can say I'm bored with the game. I eventually got bored with WoW, but at least there I never did all there was to do in that game. I realize it's unfair to compare content of a 6 month old game to an 8 year old game, but at least with WoW you'd have to have no life or have a long term commitment to complete all the content that it has. In TOR, it only took me 6 months to experience all there is the game has to offer. Honestly, if they had just left PvP alone I probably would still be subbed, but since 1.2 PvP is just horrid and I couldn't justify giving Bioware any more money for something I don't enjoy anymore. That, and the whole Mass Effect 3 fiasco has really soured me on Bioware. It's a shame, since even just a few months ago I would still be one of those fanboys singing Bioware's praises. Not anymore.
  10. And how is you giving your opinion any more relevant or constructive than the OP's opinion? This is a public forum, anyone can post their opinions to their heart's content as long as it falls within the established guidelines. If you don't like someone's opinion, either provide a counter-argument or just don't post. Pretty simple.
  11. I'm in the same boat as the OP. Pretty sad since I've been here a while (check my join date) and I'm a diehard Star Wars fanatic. This game just fell way short of my expectations.
  12. Reading a couple of posts in this thread makes me wonder why anyone willingly makes video games. Gamers are some of the whiniest, entitled people on the planet and nothing any developer does will ever please all of them. The event ended, there was information on the forums that stated it was going to end, the real world still exists and the sky is in its normal place, despite what some of the chicken littles might think.
  13. Reading the rose-tinted nostalgia from old SWG players always makes me laugh. I enjoyed SWG too, but if it was so popular, or even good, SOE wouldn't have tried to completely change the game--twice. SWG was already bleeding subscribers pre-CU. There were some things it did well, but a very large portion of the game was broken. Anyone who says SWG was "one of the greatest games ever" is fooling themselves.
  14. Yes but unless you're level 50 it won't do you any good, and at the moment they're no better than any of the other moddable lightsabers you can get. There's no green/blue/purple crafted lightsabers in the game right now.
  15. They're the little popups that come up when you discover new things. To find the codex, you have to open your log, which is done by pushing the L button by default. The codex is the third tab over. Once you're in the codex section, click on "Crew Skills" from the left and you should see a description of each crew skill, so long as you've clicked on each of the trainers once in the past.
