  1. Auto Attack. We have to win the war against the puppies by any means necessary.
  2. You could as well try to go full Balance and take Pinning resolve along. That way you can permanently CC 3 mobs and deal with groups of enemies in a divide and conquer manner.
  3. Well to be honest it takes a little longer to deal with packs of weak and or combinations of silver elites / weak mobs as a healer. But the leveling experience as a healer in SWTOR is far superior to any I've seen to date.
  4. The sage would basically cease to be a range DPS. Once a class has major parts of their rotation requiring melee range you essentially become a melee with range abilities (i.e. Jedi Shadow). As for saber throw, well it could certainly replace disturbance, but I don't think it would be very coherent if a TK Sage was constantly throwing his lightsaber around. In PVP it would have an even harder impact. Sages are among the most squishy targets on the battlefield, making up for it with superior mobility and CC. Melee range is frankly the single one place where a sage should stay out of, as he'll be likely hammered on with little to no LoS obstacle in close vicinity.
  5. I haven't seen the scale ratios for combat rating, but wouldn't surge be somewhat diminished without at least a little crit? (Force Potency is on a 1,5 Min CD after all. And Healing Trance is on a 9 sec CD and might not suffice in some situations)
  6. It's not like there's no work related to get an actual good premade group going. Sure, you could just take 9 Volunteers from general chat, but you'd be no better than a PuG.
  7. Are you sure about this, I could have sworn I got pretty much any and all kills in my close vicinity attributed to me as well - Not the killing blows, but the kills nontheless. Also there are specific medals awarded for healing (i.e. healed for 2.5k with a single heal, healed over 75k etc. pp.). Additionally, it is rare that I do not get at least a single MVP vote after healing through a victorious WZ.
  8. It's been a nice story with both diplomacy and action elements so far. It kind of reminds me of that ol' Jedi Padawn light novel series.
  9. As far as I understood it, you're getting a minor edge on regen when using noble sacrifice without stacking beyond the first stack, but that's probably without force spent on outhealing the damage on your self taken into account. Basically there might be moments when you'll run dry a short while before the end of an encounter and still need to put out some healing, in that case Noble Sacrifice even without Resplendence might be a worthwhile - albeit risky - way of enhancing your force pool just enough to keep your group alive long enough. On a sidenote: Does anyone know if there's a delay between casting Noble Sacrifice and receiving the damage? Is it possible to use it to break yourself out of a Whirlwind/Force Lift?
  10. Die Zielgruppe von Tumult auch auf andere Spieler ausweiten. (In erster Linie feindliche, aber manchmal möchte ich auch gern einem DD der in nem AE effekt stehen bleibt ins gesicht treten können)
  11. I thoroughly enjoy Sage gameplay (from a healing perspective) in both PVE and PVP. In terms of style it kind of falls behind on a few points IMO (Lightsaber being a stat-stick, throwing around pebbles ...), but the class is fine.
  12. So basically you're advocating to take an ability that sucks and is unused and buff it to still suck and still be unused?
  13. I tackled him as balance after watching the effect of Force Crush on Qyzen. With the use of Force Armor, Force Speed, Force Stun and Force Slow you should be able to kite him indefinitely. Save your Interrupt for Force Crush and try to LoS anything else. He'll charge at you, but continue his slow advance afterwards, so if you've got your Force armor up he'll hardly scratch you at all. Keep a cool head and use the furniture to your advantage, and you should be able to deal with him without any problems even without the help of your companion.
  14. The Sage class is balanced around both the fact of being a ranged caster and having no cost-free "auto-attack". Saber Strike and Double strike are mere relics from the first few levels, where a consular has yet to decide between the Shadow or Sage. Bringing in a viable "auto-attack" would probably require nerfing on some other point, as the Sage is probably on the more powerful side right now, and further buffing would be uncalled for. I personally would prefer not to see any parts of my current toolbox butchered, just to see a gimmick raised to pseudo-viability. These "auto-attacks" and "auto-heals" (Yes they're not automatic, but I tend to stick to that name because they correspond to auto-attacks in other MMOs) are a way for classes, that - per design - have downtimes either due to ressource mechanics or skill CD or both, to fill those gaps. The sage has an - in comparison- enormous resource pool with a rather slow regeneration rate. Additionally he has spammable nukes and/or heals and a more strategic regeneration interplay. An auto-attack for regenerative (non deteriorating) use would be like trying to have intercourse with an oil pipeline. The size of the regeneration and the time spent simply don't match. On another note: For simple style reasons while solo questing nobody's gonna eat your face for pressing saber strike once or twice to see the animation.
