  1. Greetings <Ruin> is newly founded empire side PvP guild on The Progenitor server. Up to 2.7 we were mainly active in 30-54 lvling our toons, but with new patch we wish to switch focus to lvl 55 PvP including some ranked teams. For that we need to bolster our ranks.   2. I'm not goiing to give them free pass over this. How bout they invest some of those profits and incrementaly grow a team? Remember, they said mastering hero engine is what took them that much time to complete the game. Now they have team of experienced developers, they've improved engine significantly. So I don't think they don't need very large (pre-launch numbers) team to make it happen.
  3. Class stories, new planets, legacy and PvP content for me. Class stories. I think adding new chapter might serve as incentive for large group of people to not only complete it on every single lvl 50-55 they have but to replay stories they completed atleast one more time. After 2 years, class story is the only content i don't spacebar through and I'm willing to pay box expansion price for some new adventures. New planets = lazy man content, but if done correctly - world arc can be enjoyable (Correlia, Belsavis) or completely boring (Hoth...) Legacy bank, maybe an option to make any kind of gear - legacy bound gear (Im fine paying for it with Cartel Coins) PvP - new modes, new warzones, maybe sobe leaderboards, open world pvp. Something to fight for. I'm big PvP-er so big hopes here. tldr; BW&EA if TOR is as profitable as you claim - invest in this game, bring back some writers. Continue on building and refining SWTOR and give us new story arcs. Story arcs that are the main reason for me to stick with you for this long.
  4. 1. Continuation of Class Story lines. 2. Tweaks in 55 PvP (get rid of lvl 55 bolster or make it that PvP items are actually BiS as they should be) 3. Return to old bolster system pre 55 where gear mattered bit more. Right now there is almost no difference between green geared player and guy in full artifact and I think there should be bit more incentive to invest in your gear. Maybe some dynamic OWPvP with actual rewards for doing so. To summarise, class stories are main reason I play SWTOR. We really need them to continue. We need some real expansion, not some half-assed patches they are serving (am I the only one who didn't lof into starfighter even once?). Make some real expension, with 8 VO class stories and VO MAIN WORLD STORY (1 full chapter - 3-4 planets). All side stuff can, and should be text based (like Corellia Black Hole dailies). Is it pricy? yes Is it risky? Maybe. WHY NOT DO A POLL WITHIN SUBSCRIBERS AND PREF-PLAYERS (people who actually spend a buck or two on this game)? You have the system in place already, those who participated in beta know what I'm talking bout. Ask your playerbase how much would they pay for new expansion. CMON BW, with all new MMORPG coming this year, its high time for some bold moves or your sub base will fade.

  6. Yes... lvl 55 bolster is great! I mean, it's genius! I love it so much that I have proposal. Why we confine this great mechanic to PvP alone? Bioware, bolster us in ops! We PvP'ers could use some better stats there! Wait... another great idea. Why don't we all just normalise gear so everybody's equal? Wouldn't that be great? Starting every match on completely equal footing, no matter how long you gear-grind. Oh wait, forget it. There is actually game that does it already. It's called Starcraft II...
  7. Agree with OP, 55 lvl bolster is a fail. I mean, how hard must it be to balance the classes on 55? With all the gear, stats, skills, DR and other stuff... It begs question, why have you created additional layer of complexity to it? Get rid of bolster. Add recruit gear and update it properly with every major patch so gap between it and top pvp set stays reasonable. Pre 2.0 it wasn't perfect, but now it's just confusing and random.

  10. Ehh, and there it is. Wanted to talk about BW Q/A policies, and what i've got is assa vs dps operative thread. People, just please spend those 3 minutes and listen to Dahaka (actually while episode is pretty good). BW wasn't testing for assa tanks in dps gear. How BW can attain balance when they are so shortsighted? They probably didn't even took this contingency serious. There are some serious problems here, like LACK OF TESTING on PTS. There is no char copy there so noone is actually testing lvl 50's in end-game gear. Huge changes and no testing. Sounds like 1.2 to me, biggest 'in-your-face' trolololo to balance since after the 1.1.1. Speaking of which, there were armies os dps Operatives stabbing everyone before 1.1.1. Now we have armies of marauders/ assa tanks in dps gear swarming every WZ. I guess it's because of story... that must be it!

  14. So... I was listening to latest Nothing But TOR. http://www.nothinggaming.com/home/m/1913843/article/760174 Dahaka talks about hybrids in general. Interesting part starts at 12:50. "I play tank assassin in PvP in full DPS PvP gear (...) Can take easly on two players and still kill both of them (...) Was it actually tested internally? No. I know for a fact that it wasn't. I asked Cameron Winston directly if it's being tested, and he said no it's not." There is some serious imbalance here. Assa tanks needs some SERIOUS tweaking. Dahaka's one of few decent enough to actually admit it. Can't blame him for playing OP class, he was assa from 1.0 so he's not FOTM. But BW? serioulsy? If that's your way of testing, we know why balance sux so much right now.
