  1. I don't think Luke was at Sidous level, but I do think it is worth noting that Luke probably had no idea Sidous could shoot lighting from his fingers. Luke getting wreaked by Sidous I think is more due to misinformation than it is a difference in ability.
  2. Honestly I personally don't consider him average. I think he could take down Ventress and be a match for Maul.
  3. For sure. As I said before, even if we could consider Luke average as of ROTJ, it doesn't change the fact that his potential is well above that of most jedi we have seen in current canon or EU.
  4. I believe it's been said by Lucas in the past that Luke is Anakins potential realized. If that's true Luke should be the most powerful Jedi by the new film, but obviously we can't say that for sure. In that case I would say Yoda or Mace are the most powerful jedi.
  5. Maybe in terms of ability, but in potential he is well above average.
  6. Right on the money? To call him "The worst Jedi Knight that lived" is far too extreme. It's true that he lacked experience, but considering what little formal training he had and how well he fought Vader, he is really impressive. It would take most Jedi a decade of training to reach his level of force control and dueling.
  7. I want to put Luke generally around Mauls level. I don't think he could defeated Dooku or most of the council, but he could defiantly take down Ventress.
  8. ESB Vader was his prime in the films. In ROTJ he was conflicted over what Luke had told him. When Luke and company were traveling to Endor Vader could sense him on the transport. But when Luke was hiding in the dark during their dual Vader couldn't find him. Vaders mind wasn't clear during their fight.
  9. I agree that beating Vader is a big deal but you have to remember that ROTJ Vader is not ESB Vader. He was conflicted at the time. It leaves me to wonder if Luke could have defeated his father in an all out fight at the time.
  10. I was talking about Star Wars with a friend of mine recently and he made the claim the Luke during ROTJ was one of the worst Jedi Knights to have lived. I think his statement is completely wrong but I don't really know how to gauge Lukes abilities by ROTJ. So how powerful was he at the time?
  11. I wouldn't even have the Revan novel. There was really no reason to give him a canon story. Sorta ruins KOTOR.
  12. So, as anyone could tell by my avatar, I am a Revan fan. KOTOR was one of the first RPG's I really got into as a kid and I always really enjoyed his story during the game, but does anyone else think that all the Revan content past KOTOR feels sort of pointless. I know that there are plenty of Revan fans out there that enjoy his content but I feel that giving him a canon story just so you can keep making him relevant over and over again seems really pointless. I would have been completely content believing that after KOTOR my Revan remained a jedi or sith, spent his life with Bastila and his child, and then died a natural death. But instead Bioware keeps finding reasons to bring him up again and again. The guy already went on a long quest to kill his best friend. That was enough of an accomplishment for one life, let him rest. Anyone else feel the same?
  13. An Old Republic game mode would be awesome. I would say either, Mandalorian wars era, Jedi Civil war era, or SWTOR era.
  14. Even if the republic gave the clones a choice most of them would have probably stayed as soldiers. Growing up they were exposed to a good deal of Mandalorian culture and probably enjoyed the chance to prove their skills in combat. Also Jedi are just defenders of the Republic. It doesn't matter what kind of army the Republic has, the Jedi will fight with them.

    Need some balance

I just join a huttball game and my team was made up of all Jedi Knights and one consular, while their team had a fine balance of both ranged and melee. We didn't stand a chance. There has to be a way to balance the players that enter PvP matches so that you don't end up with a team that is all the same class.
