  1. One of the most impressive things I've seen in a long time.
  2. Have you tried looking at the consoles around the area that give you a damage resistance buffs against the mobs of your story zone?
  3. I've wanted to wait for the legacy system before making an alt since they announced that it would come soon, but the "Sneak Peak" seemed to imply that other things were coming out, and I haven't been any word on the release of it. Does anyone have any info as to the ETA or anything?
  4. I spent awhile there, my faction has every single point, I even took myself one to finish the job (There was a sith there who I took care of then took the point, he left after I beat him once lol). And yet the quest on the map all still remain, and they all say the points are vulnerable when the game says they should be protected..
  5. It's very frustrating to enter an entire ops group of people below 20 (often 12-15, with the sole highest person (besides me) being 20), and fight a bunch of people 30-50. After 20 you have enough skills to at least hold your own thanks to the Bolster buff, but before that you just lack any skills. You don't have sprint earlier on which eliminates a lot of power in Hutball. A lot of classes won't have their CC/Counter CC (Shadow doesn't get their long one tell 20 for example). And often times these people don't know how to buff, what is a buff, and so on. Why not either create a queue for people below say.. 20 (Just a for example number) that makes it so they only fight people around that level? It would teach them to play and by the time they play with higher levels, they'll be of use. Right now it's frustrating to go in and know I'll be wasting my time.
  6. I never said you could. I said you don't lose your ability to CC, knockback, ect. DPS losses the option to heal because their heals won't do anything. But you don't knock people back any farther by going DPS spec.
  7. There are no popular MMO's that let a healer have as much DPS as a DPSer and have heals that make them gods. And if you say WoW, you'll show that you don't know jack squat about anything. Healing is very strong because you aren't just a healer. Healers don't lose the ability to cast their instant cast CC. Or their knockbacks which knock you off areas to do anything. Because those are static numbers not affected by talents/Stats. The same isn't true for a DPSer because they'll heal for a pathetic amount and CC for the same amount of time. And the healing way out does the Damage part, because you often have range on the DPS and the ability to help more than just yourself. Which is amazing if you're not being focused.
  8. Because common gaming concepts are all trademarked to WoW.
  9. In real life you could potentially outplay them or match them (Assuming it's similar strength), in here the game has systems in place to prevent you from out playing people when multiple people are involved. I don't think healing on paper is OP, but in action I've seen it do way to much in the way of one healer being able to heal three people so they beat the person they're dueling. And you can argue "go after the healer", but you don't always know if that guy in stealth is there, and It'd be stupid to let someone hit you on a "Maybe"
  10. Save I don't really consider it a full 2v1. If I'm having a close battle with someone and the healer tosses two heals, that guy is out of my kill range and I'm a free kill. The healer spent two seconds on me then goes to join two/three other battles people are having and heals them to full. You can outnumber people and if there's a healer, unless they're focused on the healer (Pubs often aren't) it's impossible to kill anyone. More so at later levels when people get AOE heals. That's why I'm asking for a way to reduce their healing, stun them for longer, extra CC, blah blah. The problem is right now, even if I DO focus them, resolve kicks in and they just full heal until my allies are dead and I'm dead anyway. Most MMO's don't have a system that prevents CC from ever being on someone. They have a break CC thing, but you can't be CC'd thanks to resolve.
  11. Who has healing reductions? I haven't seen any in my tree.
  12. I'm saying if I'm fighting one person and a healer tosses a heal. Even if that person is at 1%, he becomes very hard, if not impossible to kill. I understand that healing should out heal DPS (To an extent), but that's beyond frustrating.
  13. As the title says, is there any actual way to counter a healer in PVP? More and more people are playing heals lately and it's very Frustrating when I'm about to kill someone and a healer heals them for half their life (you can call me wrong all you want and such, I've just seen it happen. I can't say why or how. But this isn't even my point). Yeah I know spells like that have a CD, and I know healers have a limited resource and blah blah blah. But so do I. And I can't get a bunch of people to help me kill one person (more so in something like Hutball where most people are going after the person with the ball and ignoring all else). I'm not saying Healing is OP or anything, I just want to know how I'm supposed to combat healing. Because I can't ignore it or whoever I'm targeting won't die, and I can't stop the healer because it's hard to keep them from healing with the resolve system. EDIT: What I'm sort of asking, is are there any classes that can reduce healing, silence/stun for a decent time without worrying about resolve kicking in (And this doesn't count out of battle ones like the Shadow's, because I can't kill them during it).
