  1. Right? Could use some character customizations, but a race change could mess with a story line. Never been a fan of race changes.
  2. Yeah I don't know why I can't at least change my hair style. Games been out a year, you'd figure i'd grow some hair, maybe get a hair cut, who knows. Some basic things, change scars, change hair, etc, help me create levels of submersion in this game please...
  3. /signed Stuns need to be resistible if we're going to have them in this volume. It really does mess with pvp flow considering there aren't many things which resolve a stun.
  4. There's a fault in your logic. If a person can connect to other online games without getting dropped in spite of an ISP issue, that means the servers have the ability to deal with isp issues without dropping clients, which is something you would want your game farm to do. I connected to Diablo 3, EQ2 and EQ1 (on a community hosted project Red server) and didn't have this issue. So if my ISP is flakey, a community run EQ1 server can managed to not drop me, but a 200 Million dollar game can't seem to manage that? While I don't doubt that the issue might be a node, every other game appears to have the resources to not drop it's clients, but this game can't.
  5. Diablo 3 has more servers going then this game does just about. Lol?
  6. What you say is very false. There are good groups and bad groups, when you get dumped in a bad group with no hope of winning, its not your job to carry everyone else. I don't rage, I justl eave and queue up a little while later. but yeah, learn to play and people will stop leaving your groups. I'm sure you've commented in a number of these threads, why not put the effort into the game and change things up, because clearly what you're doing now is causing people to drop your group.
  7. Player A has a right to destroy player B and slow him down as Player A put the time in to get to the point where he is stronger than player B, and it's his personal choice on how to use his upgrades. While it sucks being player B, such is how progression goes. One day you may be player A and you'll feel a sense of acomplishment that you aren't getting rolled anymore.
  8. This is so funny. I've been gone six month and people are STILL crying about expertise. You know in the six months i've been gone you guys could have, I donno, farmed gear and upped your expertise. Instead you just keep ************ on the forums about how it's not fair. During the time i've been gone you've done little or nothing to improve your characters, so the people who were rolling you before, are really rolling you now because they have advanced in the time you've waited around for BW to socialize PVP. Last night I won 3 out of my 4 Warzones, and I'm only a BM. I was beating war heros from both the republic and empire side, and getting beaten by really good BM's who's response time isn't as rusty as mine, so what it comes down to is if you want to compete, put the time in, if you dont want to put the time in, don't try to handicap the people who do just because you're lazy.
  9. You're an idiot. Why would you rather spend cash than put in a little time in a GAME you're suppose to play. The point of which is to obtain the gear through PLAYING THE GAME YOU BOUGHT, rather than just buying an endgame character with a bunch of gear for real money.....
  10. Yeah as much as I like hardcore PVP, I think you don't understand what carebear means. It means a blue server with no pvp, or a super restrictive server (where you can only attack someone a few levels within your range) Sounds to me you're just bored and are looking to cause some grief.
  11. I think it's just bad players. I've been out of the game for about four months and came back to check it out before it went F2P, and as I am full BM gear, I queued up some WZ and went 2 out of 3. I found that I am roughly where I was when I left, only I would lose any close duel due to 'physical' memory being shot. I was able to kill players from recruits to war heros, although an equally skilled war hero would defeat me most of the time, and as it should be, I haven't been playing in four months and that guy grinded out his gear while. That being said, I never got rolled, and had my timing been better I'd have won more of them. I think the problem is your egos are greater than your skill set. Everyone has this vision of them as a bad *** lightsaber using mofo, until they realize they need to get good at the game like anything else. Some people can't handle dying.
  12. Getting owned the same time over and over again is the sign of an unskilled player.....
  13. You do understand that giving a sub-set of people 'something' tends to drive another sub-set of people away because they feel it breaks the game for whatever reason. A lot of changes have occured since March, and the sub rate is down 25% over that time. Yet you won't ask yourself if there's a direct connection between all these changes and the mass exodus of players. I think it's those changes that are creating the SW:TOR ghost-town. I quit last month, popped back to see the stat of the game before I pick up D3 tonight, looks like nothing's changed, the player base still wants to cut the knees out from under the game, and the dev's haven't learned that trying to be everything to every player ends up making a game that's nothing to no one.
  14. To many players wanted the game to have a causal feel with no 'grind' to keep people occupied, so the game was modified a couple of times to suit that single player casual feel, so a lot of the people who want a harder game, vacated. The games staying power was destroyed in order to make everyone happy in the short term. That's just my opinion.
  15. How are all those changes that were made to suit the 'casual' players and make the game less 'hardcore' friendly working out for the game? Oh, subs down 25%? Nice. Wonder if all those players will be picking up D3 with me tonight. Just wanted to swing by and see what's become of a game that drove itself into a wall to suit the vocial minority. Live and learn, eh EA?
