You're playing the same nerdy game as me, but you are content to be ignorant about the hardware you are playing on and have extremely low standards for how the game performs. So we're both nerds, but I actually have an idea of how the hardware in my system works and why it works the way it does. I also have a machine powerful enough to play this game the way the developer intended, and not with everything on low at a reduced resolution and framerate like you must play. Speed freak? Sure to some extent, I like my games to run at a fluid 60 fps. Extreme nerd? I dont know about extreme, but I am a hardware enthusiast to some extent. What are you? A nerd who isnt even good at being a nerd? Sounds like you got the worse deal.

Please stop giving people advice. I honestly don't even know how you can stand to play the game on that card. You know absolutely nothing about video cards and yet you feel it appropriate to give people advice and suggest upgrades. I facepalmed a few times while reading your previous posts, just stop. Alternatively you could actually learn a thing or two and then give proper informed advice. And again on the Vram the AMOUNT really means nothing. Especially on a laptop a card is going to most likely have enough ram to handle the laptops native res, you only need excessive amounts of ram at super high resolutions. And I find it funny that you are so obsessed with vram and you didnt mention ddr3 vs gddr5, which actually does matter. Some cards even with the same name will have ddr3 variants and gddr5 variants, obviously the gddr5 variants are faster. Though overall that still has minimal impact, give a card with 96 cuda cores 6 gigs of gddr5@7 ghz and its not suddenly a GTX Titan

I cancelled my sub because I refuse to sub while other players are playing for free. All the content should be free or none of it. This crap about limited warzones and no ops, complete garbage. I hate HATE world of warcraft, but this is going to force me to go back for mists of pandaria, because for some strange reason I need to have an MMO to waste time on.

Everyone in this thread defending ranked warzones is a troll. Wow seemed to be able to get it right. If you arent very good you play against other people who arent very good. If you are a highly skilled player you play against other highly skilled people. There is no reason bioware cant do this. Cross realm and proper matchmaking is needed. And shut up before you tell me to go play wow. Wow is the most popular MMO for a reason, Bioware should swallow its pride and borrow more from WoW.

They need solo ranked queues (which are coming) and ranked warzones (ONLY, not normal) need to be cross server. There also of course needs to be some kind of ladder which im sure is coming whenever they officially start season 1. Though without cross realm ranked warzones a ladder is pretty pointless, since you could only have a couple of top teams on any given server, not much competition.

I have the old version of that laptop (GTX560M) and the game runs fine, just turn off shadows and bloom, you can max everything else. Shadows really drag down performance, same with bloom. If you wanted to max every game you shouldn't have gotten a laptop. Overclock your card, you should be able to get at least a 10% performance boost with a good OC. 660M is nowhere near the latest and greatest. Sure it is kepler, but it is still weaker than the 670M which is a fermi rebrand. 660M is probably about half the performance of the 7970M/680M, which is about the range of a desktop 7850. Half the performance of a desktop 7850 which is a midrange priced card is nowhere near the greatest.

I just resubbed yesterday and I now have the game installed on a crucial m4 (500mb/sec read) and I still notice some fairly long loading screens, although it is such an improvement over my old 7200rpm drive that I had before I quit the game for the first time. I used to get 1 min+ loading screens on that thing. Still this game has the longest loading screens of any game ive ever played.

I resubbed today. Decided to roll a completely fresh character on republic so that I can enjoy the story over again with the nice additions that have been made since I quit. Hopefully by the time I hit 50 1.3 will be out and I will have a reason to continue playing. Of course I would love it if it came out before i hit 50 so I could do a few of the flashpoints that I never did the first time around, but im not holding my breath.
