  1. Hey folks, I'm in the process of looking for a guild on either Republic or Empire side. I have predominantly played Republic with a Vanguard, but I have at least one toon for each class at a lower level. My Vanguard is at level 65 and I have had him for quite a bit of time. I have a few Empire toons that I don't show much love to currently. My predicament with looking for a guild. I'm busy. In my personal life I'm a Lieutenant with a volunteer fire department and it eats up a lot of my time. With this eating up quite a bit of my time, I normally have to let the initial guild recruitment/trial period slack. Thus is my problem, I don't have the time to meet criteria to join a guild to show my commitment due to my real life commitments. I can normally jump online a couple times a week to dilly-dad about and complete a few missions here and there. Thanks for taking the time to read this, Tracyaat ***EDIT*** I should probably let you all know what I am looking for...That might help. I enjoy PVE/PVP on the casual side. I haven't really PVP'd on my Vanguard since....well, a while. I do want to maybe give some RP a try. I have seen a few events on a prior server that looked interesting.
  2. I may be interested in joining your guild. Do you all have a website or anything? I have been out of the game for a bit due to personal issues and work conflics, but I recently decided to try and get back into it. I have a 55 vanguard on TEH and a 53 (?) smuggler on Jung-Ma. There are some other toons floating about that I will be tranferring over to TEH since it is now dirt cheap to.
  3. Greetings folks, I am a returning player looking to get my feet wet in a RP guild. I played the game from when it was first released until about the bump to level 55. I am looking for either a Trooper guild or a Jedi one. I am currently playing a level 13 Tactics Vanguard, just doing what makes me smile. About me. I am 33 years old, with a fairly busy evening schedule. My best nights to play are Tuesday after 8, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. I have done some of the earlier raids on other servers, I don't wish to bring my toons from another server. With the changes since I left the game, it is just easier to get a fresh learning perspective with a fresh toon. I am looking for a small to mediumish sized guild. I dont care for a guild with 500 members. I like my guild to feel like an extended family. I would prefer the guild to have some form of VOIP. In game chat is nice, but hearing voices makes it more personable. I am by no means a hardcore player. I dabble in PvP and raids, but I try not to take it seriously. Thanks for looking, Blind
  4. I am hoping someone can help me. I was on Ord last night with my fresh level 10 vanguard and I was talking with someone about a guild. Their toon name was osirus something. They were talking about their guild 182nd or something and it looks interesting. One of the key things they mentioned was gear and weapons restrictions. They also mentioned about basic training tonight. I am looking to possibly join their guild. Any help with who they are would be appreciated. My toon was Tracyaat.
  5. Howdy Folks, I'm in the market for a guild on the server. I've been with the game since day 1. I have a 54 Vanguard tank and a 50 slinger I would bring over if I find a good fit. I currently have an uber lowbie trooper that is going to move up the ranks of commando, possible healer. I'm looking for a laid back, mature guild to run with. I'm also hoping that this guild would have mumble or teamspeak to actually talk with. I'm open to both new and old guilds. Also, if you're wondering, I'll be transplanting from Jung Ma.

  7. The class specific story lines are completely different. The only same stories and enemies you will run into are on the planet stories. I have both a 30 sentinel and 30 sage. I never really had much problems with the sage, I always sent the tank in and attacked first to draw the aggro then I attacked with ranged attacks and healed when needed. The sentinel is a different path. I don't use my tank much with this one, but I still do manually click attack enemy with my companion then follow up to take the harder opponents
  8. Yes. You can do that. I have an alt sentinel and I do something like that all the time when I come across an orange heavy armor item. Strip it down to bare bones and use it in either my armor or my companions armor. It is also a good idea to see if a companion can use the item or not since they don't follow your skill sets. Also on a side note with companion gear, they follow your suit for LS DS alignment. If you are Dark III, they cannot equip a Light anything.
  9. For standard grouping it is up to 4 with missions. I have never been in a general group playing through missions or heroics with more than 4. You can be in an ops group with quite a few more people than 4. The whole 5 friends may prove difficult to do the same missions at the same time unless one or 2 of them want to wait it out and go in later with the other 3 or so
  10. The best I got for you is use what you have and harass healers to start. As you gain in levels you will be able to cause more grief for the republic
