  1. Man I love this Q&A If you are motivated, you can leave your low pop server to join a higher population server, you know, to help your lower population server. Makes complete sense.
  2. I've been running grade 4 rich and grade 5 abundant lockbox missions all day. I am sitting at the same amount of money as when I started. I guess it's balanced in that I'm not losing money.
  3. This sort of thing is happening a lot. Players from low pop servers re-rolling on high pop servers. It's probably bad for both servers, especially for the low-pop one.
  4. This is correct. Our first run was with 1 melee dps and 1 ranged dps. It took us a few tries to figure out the mechanics but in the end we beat it. It didn't take us long to figure out the plasma arc wasn't causing the balls on the ground.
  5. No I'm pretty sure there is nothing to differentiate one orange item from another except it's looks. Their stats are all generated from the mods you put in them.
  6. Sorry I haven't played with this feature yet, but what does assigning your chars a relation do? I mean if it's just for fun, then didn't always have this feature? Pencil+Paper.
  7. I wouldn't expect a merge any time soon. While the existing players may want it, the problem is that when potential new customers hear that SWTOR is having a server merge _already_, it gives the impression that the game is flopping.
  8. Just more fluff to encourage more solo-play instead of grouping. Good thing it's not an MMO.
  9. Simple question.. Isn't there enough SP content already?
  10. If War Hero gear can't be used or has no expertise bonus in unranked pvp then I see no problem with this. Ranked games should put all players on a level playing field anyways. If you want to faceroll because of gear alone then that should be left to unranked matches, and requiring a grind to get said gear is just fine.
  11. Well yeah when 99% of the leveling game is based on single player, they have to do it that way. This game really only turns into an MMO when you hit 50 and start ops, even then 8 and 16ppl "raids" is pretty un-MMO like compared to my past MMO experiences. Which is kindof a bummer considering how little there is to do at that point. I almost wish every major change in a class story or chapter required 4+ people to complete.
  12. Whichever Sith class it is that constantly groans like they have a really bad case of constipation.
  13. But what about that other screenshot of the CSR who said it was ok? Even though I firmly believe he simply misunderstood the situation based on his reply, it can easily be taken as them being told it is acceptable. I'm not sure "actions will be taken against their accounts" is entirely fair, even though what they were doing was an obvious abuse of the system.
  14. It says they don't encourage it but then asks for player names so it sounds like it's a little more than simply discouraged.
  15. Seems to me more like that CS rep didn't understand what was really going on. He replies as if it's simply 2 groups that arranged to go PvP on Ilum. "Trading kills" could easily be taken as "trading punches" to a clueless CS rep that uses templates for most replies.
