  1. If Ray Rice runs for 400 yards in a Pee Wee football game, it is terribly inefficient. That doesn't make Ray Rice any less awesome.
  2. Make no mistake, operative healers were being carried through content pre 1.2. Keep telling yourself that wasn't the case if you want. I love how you casually take a swipe at operatives like their problems were trivial when the game launched yet you bemoan the current state of the force using healers like some kind of crime has been committed. This is pure comedy. Seriously.
  3. Love the highly sanitized screenshot post immediately after the post pointing out math not adding up.
  4. I thoroughly enjoy pretending that I am, in fact, The Joker. Please don't remove my evil cackling laugh.
  5. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=363893 You might be interested in the discussion over at the healer forums. Take a breath. This isn't the end of the world for sage healers. Yes, it looks healing will become more challenging to play. In the end it will be fine. Bioware isn't going to kill the most popular AC in the game.
  6. I believe Resplendance also prevented the force regen rate debuff from being applied to you when Noble Sacrifice was used.
  7. The changes to Resplendence make the potential talent points for Valiance now worth something (how much is debatable) where before Valiance had near zero value. You can still eat a medpack if you liike to counter the health loss as well as another healer can give you a spot heal. This isn't a gamebreaking change. They needed a way to make Noble Sacrifice a choice instead of a 'hit this button every 10 seconds' ability.
  8. The last patch did a decent job addressing the valor and commendations disparity between healers and other roles in warzones. If that's not good enough for your friend then quitting now is probably for the best. I don't expect things to get much better from here in that area. In this game (as well as many others) part of the role of the healer is to do damage or perform other utility as the situation warrants. If all you want to do is sit there and spam heals unmolested then you are going to be miserable against any moderately coordinated team. Steal some killing blows from the dps. Its fun!
  9. Sweet mother someone get an admin to move this out of the healing forum.
  10. Don't expect a reply. This guy has been trolling multiple threads. Very weakly I might add.
  11. Would you prefer zero BM bags? Last patch allows you to trade up to BM commendations at the vendor. Problem solved.
  12. What's the point of this topic? To be a braggart? 'Winning' the warzone scoreboard means nothing. Take it to the PVP forums if you want to be a show off.
  13. This forum has been largely constructive and positive dealing with matters concerning healers. May I suggest you take your topic to the PVP forum. This isn't the place for epeen flaunting.
  14. Pop over to the healing forum and you will see there are a fair number of levelheaded, intelligent non-scoundrel (and non-operative) healers supporting bringing scoundrel/operative healing (as well as trooper/merc healing to some degree) up to the level of sages/sorcs. Of course, there are the inevitable sages/sorcs who will bemoan that "They've got it rough too". Kind of like the kid on the block who's parents buy him all the cool toys and complains he can't decide which one he likes best. Patch 1.2 is going to be Armageddon for healers. We will see what happens. I'm not very optimistic.
  15. This. A hundred times this. I heal for my friend in my groups and he was absolutely awful about LOS'ing me or ranging me. I broke him of this habit by getting in voice chat and yelling "LOS" every single time he did it. It finally sunk in what he should be doing (LOS'ing the enemy mobs instead of me) and it has been smooth sailing since. Also, if you get in a bad spot as a healer (say you eat some CC twice in a row and get behind- think Revan doing his force lift in Foundry) don't be afraid to call it out and tell people to use survival CD's or blow medpacks. Don't be too proud to admit you are in a bad spot and need some help to recover. Usually, the dps don't need to be at full health to be out of danger. If they die they usually did something stupid to deserve it and you probably couldn't have save them in that case anyway. Focus on the tank and yourself. Either of you die then a wipe is likely unavoidable.
