  1. So we cannot criticized BW because it may delay their progress or stress them out? lol Pressure should motivate the devs to hasten their fixes and in introducing new contents, etc.. If they are not, they don't deserve to be in this business. The spirit of competition does not rest in a free market system.
  2. I planted my standard quite often in Ilum. 1 player? Lol c'mon... once is okey but the 4th time on a Saturday? Forget that, I rather go do something on a Saturday than pretend to own a planet because the whole place is uninhabited.
  3. My main is BH:Merc and quite enjoy the Arsenal spec and firebug spec. However, I dislike the Bodyguard spec much. Healing is not my forte for one, but at least make it more appealing. I know the majorities arguments about Bodyguard, but to me it has to appeal first and foremost, second I need to know what the future of this spec. Viability and effectiveness in a solid group. Since dual spec will not be introduced yet, I'm not much playing this class IMO. I am enjoying my Sith Inquisitor: Assassin. I enjoy playing pvp with this class. Huttball much? I don't mind. I shine on this arena, not in K/D ratio but scoring goals. K/D ratio, top or in the top 5 almost every time on any WZ. Mind you this is in the lowbies WZ. Not sure what it's like in 50s' Bracket. Someone else need to present their opinion. My Sith Warrior:Jugg and Marauder, both annoying to play. I hate the delay/hesitation of combat animation. These are the only class I hate playing since BW can't seem to figure out a fix. Animation was still bugged when I played it an will perhaps not have the opportunity to witness a flawless animation. I like the Mar between the two. I would prefer to lvl my mar to 50, but... perhaps the result of 1.2 will be something to pull me back.
  4. They shouldn't have released it prematurely. They knew how much missing content and fixes was still needed. The current status of the game, to most MMO vets is unacceptable. This is a pay-to-play game, they should have met the expectation of consumers/customers from release. They had the opportunity to follow, improve existing genre. IMHO Swtor is a flashback of old MMOs. I see nothing really ground breaking...
  5. That gives us the right to unsub and perhaps hold to resub when the results of 1.2 is favorable. Either way, subs will be down till 1.2 is released. Even that does not guarantee that people not playing right now will be back. They can keep pushing release of patch 1.2, but regardless of the wait we are saving real currency.
  6. Very easy to say that all you have to do is pick a different class to play if you cannot adopt to the changes. The problem with that argument is that, they are not done with the changes. A lot of players expect things to be balanced from the get-go. This isn't the case with swtor. True enough, they are making strides to better the game, but it is moving at a slow pace. From recent changes to class balance, it seem that they have a long way to go to make everything truly balanced (if there is such a thing). Patch 1.2 should have been implemented at release or shortly after that. 1.2 is icing, but the feeling is that the content is still dull and taste bad.
  7. Metaphor... lol how's that?
  8. I'm sure they'll name it something appropriate for your class. Not to do so will definitely be newbish for BW Devs. Or, you can simply ignore the name and just savor the possibilities of the ability.
  9. Dual spec would have been enough to get me somewhat interested in staying on. However, noticed the patch note regarding Merc healing, I just respec'd from being Arsenal to Bodyguard to address the guild's need for a healer. Being a healer is not my forte but I started to enjoy healing fellow guildy. I can stay on if I can maintain my aggressive style in PVP by being DPS Arsenal/Firebug and address my guildy's need in PVE by simply bringing the necessary spec. I don't see this happening in 1.2. A definite deal breaker for me.
  10. The lack of subscription for an anticipated MMO is very appealing indeed. I prefer this option over a game that feels like it should be F2P. SWTOR may not lose or very little lose to Tera but I'm sure subs will decline dramatically before end of 2012.
  11. Nope. Didn't even check how many days or hours I have left. I care not what happens next. The game is simply getting dull and duller every time I log in. I contribute the low pop, customer service, quality control and game content for the very reason I never bother to check if it's up for renewal. I had three months when I started. It feels like it's been that long.
  12. Don't worry if this continue, the decline in subscription and game quality, you'll end up playing a F2P. If server merger does not happen soon the player population and subscription will dramatically/significantly drop. So then what will happen?
  13. Non force user will be able to use the Force? Is this Star Wars? So this will be considered the second Release of SWTOR. Most of the intended items mentioned should have been implemented at release. Basing my opinion on BW's ability to fix, I say that this will be a fiasco trying to fix the game balance. Oh well... We'll see. Keep tracking BW.
  14. Well, you got it right. LOL First impression always get my final decision. Once you get to a certain range, it is very difficult to steer your interest. I had my moments on Blizz's forums. Once you frequent the forums, you expect to be heard and get answers. If you don't get answers or lack of interaction with peps who have the authority to provide those information, you basically just shuts down. You lose interest. Patience is the key. However, when you are paying a recurring subscription that tends to go out the window. I need to be submerged in the game, not the forums. If I'm kept or getting diverted to the forum, something is up. If there are more account holders frequenting the forums expressing dissatisfaction, then something is wrong with the game.
  15. I want the barber shop twirling colors. Can we have that? That would make it more interesting.
