As far as Im concerned it worked like a charm. My 1st char I created i created a surname for it to... didnt realise I would get a legacy surname too.. the legacy surname I didnt like (after sooooo many prompts when logging in). Ludo Kresh > Red Eclipse was perfect, spent an hour with a friend tonight making sure we had new legacy names on Red Eclipse ( we had re-rolled before transfers). Then made new chars on destination server with exact same names of chars of names we wanted to change.. Transfer took about 10 mins,,,,, now have new char names and new legacy name.. and a full server.......about time on the server issues... gj u guys

Has me worried there till i logged in. I see 83 people on the fleet on Red Eclipse. What 5 top eu servers are u talking about?

Yes they can die as they suffer falling damage. They can be re-summoned and they will be alive again. However the game don't have an animation for them when they are dead, so they just stand there and stop following you around. Their health doesn't appear to auto regenerate after they have taken damage, and a companion wont heal them either.This can be demonstrated by using the lifts to VIP area on fleet and timing getting on or off the lift so the pet falls down the lift. Dunno how it works on republic side... me and friend levelled on imperial, me a bounty hunter, her an imperial agent. We chose these chars just because they had same starting planet and it worked very well. Although the quests we picked up were different they were all in same areas. Just make sure u have set option to share quests so u can get to see all the cutscenes etc. U will get to see storyline for both players which we enjoyed, all the way to Ilum. One thing we did notice is that if one of us had a quest in an area that the other one didnt, it was because the other player hadnt caught up just yet in their storyline... (or the area was class specific like docking with a ship - just follow them for those) one cutscene later and quests were back synchronised area wise.. fun to do
