Have you not played through KOTFE/KOTET? Or the ... crap, the storyline that bridges between KOTET and Onslaught? Lana is a key companion. Nadia and Kira are vanilla companions for the Jedi Consular and Knight (respectively) and have been around since launch. No, they aren't being incorporated into the story very well anymore and I'm rather disappointed by that, but all eight classes receive five companions so that's a base of 40 comps to juggle, and they're not all going to make sense in everyone's stories given how the game went from eight class stories to more-or-less one streamlined story. The forced use of new companions based upon the stories of certain flashpoints annoys me. They're not at max influence, unlike a few of my comps, so, they're less effective. A Voss companion would have been cool, though, for the Interpreter's Retreat story. But I like Voss, so, whatever. TL;DR the devs know we would like more interactions with companions. That's where the date night idea came from. But... it's not exactly what I think most people wanted. -

Iv experienced these exact issues alot of times Iv played that FP on probably 15 + characters I do not know what the cause of it is Idk if its desync or what but especially at the death from above animation Iv been no where near at aoe when it goes off and its hitting me like im swimming in it Shae has killed the combat droid a few times like that even my rank 50 comps There has been a few times it doesnt happen but Id have to say 9/10 times shes hitting me with the aoe even when Im not in it The funny part is it seems to happen when Im on a range spec nearly every time even If im positioned away from the aoe And times on Im on a melee spec I feel like I can stand in that very small orange aoe and not get hit or the damage is so slight I dont even notice it I always thought it was odd considering how many times Iv gotten hit by that animation so many times while being away from it I began to assume I had to stand in the aoe to not get hit lol Granted I always complete FP but I can personally attest I have had those exact same experiences before lol Shae has killed the combat droid While I had a rank 50 companion healing because of that aoe glitch lol -

I've played through Blood Hunt regularly on Story Mode with the Combat Droid for Galactic Seasons and have not encountered any problems with the fight. That is really bizarre what you're experiencing. Do you not have the Combat Droid summoned?? -
I've tried 9.6 and few proton versions with lutris, also one WINE compilation without mono and all leading to the same result Host_WindowLoadTimeout. (i have AMD but similar result to your nvidia) Ive deleted all temps, i tried on 2 different profiles, few DVX versions (not newest) and nothing . I have no idea what they changed in launcher on Tuesday. In UNIX world probably you will just run in terminal with --login xxx --password xxx and temporary skip launcher until fix -
Yep I've been limiting my play. If people can't be productive, and learn to work together to make PVP better, it will never get better. If I see the PVP is not good, I just log off. I try again later if it's bad, I'll do something else. Another issue, people shouldn't be that NEEDY to where they have to play with their friends to get attention and feel liked. It's not helpful to the game. Look we all know there is a problem. We all know they will never fix it. If you want better games, then change the behavior. Don't be part of the problem because sooner or later they'll be no PVP. It dies here. It dies in every other MMO. The pvp genre in mmos is dying in general. There's no need to contribute to its demise because of your own emotional neediness or whatever your case is. Because in every other MMO, you get the same problem. Just don't be on under the illusion that developers this in this game can fix it because they don't fundamentally understand pvp. They never have. Like I said you better hope they don't attempt to fix it because it will be 10 times worse. Also stop complaining about classes that are overpowered because it's a vicious circle then another class becomes overpowered when the other one becomes underpowered just leave it as it is.
