    • Here lately there seem to be many issues in other games' community teams (Helldivers 2 being the most recent), mouthing off, blatantly attacking, and ridiculing their player bases. I, for one, am EXTREMELY grateful for our community team here. They are always respectful, tactful, and do their best to resolve issues or conflicts in a VERY professional manner. Everyone is human, everyone can always do better but I'd say in our case we're pretty darn lucky to have Jackie, et al as our community team. Thank you all for your professionalism and hard work. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is grateful for you.
    • Or, now hear me out: we can use the solution that's already in the game instead of jumping through hoops.   Speaking of glitches: I defeated the Rogue Cartel Warbot on Quesh with a group last night, but never got the chance for loot or the quest item for Qyzen's Alliance Alert (which is still active on my Warrior).
    • Unfortunately, a lot of those salesman just say anything to make the sale. It also could be that he's misinformed and thinks since SWTOR came out in 2012 it will work on any recently released computer or laptop. The system requirements have gone up quite a bit since the game came out. In 2012, a computer with 4GHz Pentium, 4GB of RAM, and a geforce 8800gt 512mb graphics card could max out the graphics in this game. Now that same computer either couldn't run it or would have to play on the lowest settings. This increase in requirements is true for all MMOs. For example, WoW only required a 2GHz Pentium, 128mb RAM, and 32mb graphics card. Now you need a quad core processor, 8GB of RAM, and 3GB graphics card. It's one of the things that makes MMOs more of a premium or a luxury. To play long-term you do have to upgrade your computer periodically, adding an extra cost over time beyond the subscription.
    • Still it can glitch and not give you credit if not in a group. It's happened to me. It's so annoying just put the WB's in the group finder!
    • On Steam you download the second install from the SWTOR store page. You can see the link at the top in the section that reads: "Want to participate in the STAR WARS™: The Old Republic™ - Public Test Server? Click here to install it now." (I copied the link here: steam://install/1433120. It might work if you paste it in your browser, but if not, click the link on the page instead.)
