New players in PvP is not an issue. This is a good thing. The issue is that there is no incentive for these new players to improve, nor incentives to keep skilled players in the game. -

This is an excellent point. Yes, you can watch animations/hp bars or set timers as backup for various events, but the audio cues (or the text for them) are a vital indicator and it's a little weird that they're in the same category as loot drops. I can kind of see why it was built that way, but it would be interesting to know what it would take to re-evaluate what actually belongs in the system feedback category. -
When I played EverQuest through a couple waves of server merges, they were very explicit about telling the players that, though the server retained one of the two names, it was considered a new server, and the players from both old servers were merged as equals. I’m on SS as a result of whatever merges occurred while I was inactive. I had three or four characters get new names, and one that was flagged as needing a change but it cleared without letting me actually change the name. A forced merge is the only reason I’d leave SS, mainly because I don’t play multiplayer and I don’t want to move characters piecemeal - I want the whole legacy moved at once. -

@Traceguy I only use System Feedback in Other, otherwise it's disabled in all my other chat (tabs) of course... The channels enabled in Other (tab) is only System Feedback & Conversations, that's it, similar to what @LD_Little_Dragon said; it's turned on no where else, in any other chat tab. Still the problem is when you switch to Other, and want to read what's posted it's a lot of channel leave / join spam you got to filter thru... I'd be fine if we could filter channel join / leaves from System Feedback, or move it to a new channel: New Channel Feedback (for channel join / leave) notifications. System Feedback: want to see, Gear Drops, XP, Conquest Deployment Points (Conquest/Achievements) & Commendations per say... While Allies is quite popular, leaving isn't a solution either, as that's 80% of the channel join / leave requests I see. It's just too highly effective in helping you find others for group content, even more so than General Chat Channel at Fleet, which is why I have both General Chat and Allies aside from Say, Whisper, or Emotes only in my Allies (tab) which is my Forth Chat (tab) for instance. Allies Custom Chat channel is also wonderful, because it works regardless of what Faction your in and looking for others!
