    • Ultimately, these suggestions will typically fall flat for one reason. It's a massive multiplayer online rpg. It's NOT and never WAS a single player game. Your class story is single player, but the flashpoints and later operations, incentivize group content. Heroic Missions on planets were designed to get you to group in pairs or 4 depending. In Vanilla, it was needed. You were not soloing a heroic 4 back then without a companion in at least full columi gear.   They'd also have to completely redesign the boss mechanics as they would never work.   That said, there are story mode dark fortress and dark palace runs basically every day. Hang out on fleet and join up. Or start one yourself. I promise the story modes are extremely forgiving and you may find you actually enjoy it.   And if you don't want to do that, then just abandon the quest. It literally changes nothing. It's storming their fortress, then their palace and defeating all the dread masters. You miss exactly one cutscene at the end which can be summarized in like two lines. It's something, but honestly you're REALLY not missing anything. Like 4 minutes worth of story see the spoiler if you want. But ALL of the ops have stories to them and honestly are worth playing at least once imo. But personally, I think decrying the multiplayer components of an inherently multiplayer game is gonna fall on deaf ears most of the time.
    • You need 4 people to get up there. Once up there we used to sit there and pull people up with sage/sorc. Some people charged. I'd offer for free and people often tipped me. I had people tip a million or more. It was a real sense of community. Once the majority of regular players had it, it started to become rare. As stat creep set in, those little stat boosts became worth much less. Honestly, I think the issue with Datacrons is there's no incentive to get them anymore so people don't (Mostly changed when they made datacrons legacy wide instead of character specific)   I do think they need to add some kind of little bonus to make them worth doing again like collecting on new characters gives a pet or title or something. Nothing requiring more than minimal effort to add though or it will never happen. (Probably won't anyway)
    • I run Ravagers at least once a month and have run into this exact issue. I've even had a guildie forget to put it away and caused the bug. Ok, but if you're cool with putting it away just on being in the way, is it really a big deal to desummon for the bugged boss? Why would you assume they're trolling? That's not even close to the strangest bug in this game. So many spots if you stand in the wrong place a boss will bug out. Or vice versa, look at the cheese strats we get with some bosses that take advantage of LoS and bad boss "AI" This game is a buggy mess and I love it dearly. So yeah, I'm just curious what makes that sound trolly next to the 3 million fight breaking bugs that live in this game.
    • At most, add a "feather fall" spell or something that can add some utility to a class. Maybe like Mercenary/Commando and Assassin/Shadow since they took our phase walk and gave it to sorc instead. But in all seriousness, there's a mechanical game and map design reason for it to exist. It allows them to create vertical spaces without a free way to skip everything.
    • These three all unlock as alliance alerts, the vendor just let's you get that early. Not required to unlock them. (Some characters I get them right away if I plan on skipping kotfe and kotet otherwise I get them normally)
