It is not a bannable offense and we do not intend to action folks who have used it. The reason is that although some may realize it is unintended and try to use it to their advantage until it is fixed. Some folks may simply have the relic and be using the item they bought, completely unaware that they are using a bugged item.

Because of that we are going to just leave it in place as is and then work to get it fixed ASAP.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to let you know that we are definitely aware of the current bug with a certain PvP relic and it's unintended consequences. We are working to get a fix to this ASAP and will update you as I know more.

As a note, the current state of that relic is 100% not intended. That is the reason this post is being very generic as to what the relic is and what it does. I wanted to make sure we acknowledged it so that you guys knew we are working on it.

Due to the unintended effects of this issue, we will continue to remove posts about the relic in question. Thank you all for your understanding.

I talked to the dev team on this and this is in fact, not a bug. The weapons on the Czerka vendor are currently the best weapons you can buy from a vendor using Commendations. As such, we kept the Elite Commendation requirement in place. This way the best weapons you can purchase from Commendations would require you to run things like Hard Mode Flashpoints.

Can you post an example of the Adaptable gear you're referring to? Additionally, are you noticing a change from former behavior in CZ-198 (Oricon is new, so you'd not have a frame there, I know), or is this more of an observation and general inquiry?

There are no known bugs with this, so I'm going to recommend that you contact Customer Support via in-game help ticket to see if they can assist you. There's a fix in Game Update 2.4.1 to correct ratings for folks that switch back and forth between Solo and Ranked Warzones. Please let us know if you see it after the patch, and thanks for the report.

Hey there folks!

As a heads up for this month's Bounty Contract Week beginning next Tuesday, we've got a fix in Game Update 2.4.1 to address this issue. If you have already unlocked a Bounty Kingpin Contract and accidentally buy the Authorization for it, you will not consume the item. Therefore, you'll be able to refund it back to the Bounty Contract Broker to get your contracts back for use on a different Authorization.

Aldo, don't forget that Bounty Kingpin Authorizations do not reset for each event, so if you've unlocked a planet's Kingpin Contract previously, it will be ready and available to complete during next week's event.

I didn't figure it was commonly known nor happened as commonly in the encounter as the Guardian bug. Nonetheless, we have it locked down internally, and I'll throw it on the Known Issues so folks know we don't need new reports. Honestly, I may not have mentioned it if it weren't called out in the OP, but then you'd have had a blank reply and that wouldn't have been good either!

Thanks for the follow up posts, folks, and I'm sorry that my post was unclear! It looks like it was cut short, and I didn't notice before moving on. However, I'd intended to both let you know that there is actually an issue with Corruptor damage during this encounter that we've locked down as well as to tell you the following:

The bug where the Guardian of the Fortress Affliction ability is causing WAY too much damage per tick is fixed in Game Update 2.4.1, which is intended to be the very next patch!

Again, my apologies for not being more careful! It was totally not my intention to troll you guys - that's something better left for Mr. Musco. >.<

(And on a only-semi-related note, we're looking into some issues with creating and editing posts on the Forums.)

Quick Travel Terminal Issues After Game Update 2.4 | 10.09.2013, 11:31 AM
Hi there folks!

First of all, because this thread is not exclusive to #1 below, and because it's appropriate to put all communication about these three issues in one place, I've updated the title of this thread to help folks find it more easily. (Edit: I've decided when I do this, I'll be sure to add a ... so those of you here often will know when I've done this, though I usually prefer to leave your titles in place. )

Now, an update to Quick Travel Terminal woes: we have confirmed three separate issues with Quick Travel Terminals since Game Update 2.4. One is already added and the others will soon be on the Known Issues. They are:

1. The Quick Travel terminal on the bridge of the Dread Fortress on Oricon will lock again within an hour of being discovered.

2. Locked Quick Travel Terminals sometimes do not display the proper icon to indicate that they are undiscovered.

3. Quick Travel Terminals will sometimes display a "NULL" message when scrolling over them, only to display the correct description when visited later. This occurs most frequently on Oricon. (This happens exactly as described by Jerba above. )
All three of these are a bit slippery, as the time frame before #1 occurs is not yet fully locked down, though we know that it's under an hour but it's not related to logging out and back in or even to logging into another character and back in. Additionally, #2 and #3 are also not happening with any particular consistency. We're testing and working on fixes for all of them and appreciate your reports and patience!

The Mass Affliction DoT cast by the Corruptor is bugged in that it is dealing more damage than intended after the Corruptor is dead. Currently, this is to be fixed in Game Update 2.4.2.

Although I cannot go into specifics yet, what I can say is that there is a system of leveling and progression for Galactic Starfighter itself, and just like the rest of SWTOR, subscribers will get a bonus to that progression.

There will not be a new planet and there is no increase to the level cap with this expansion. We really wanted to focus this expansion around space off of rails where you get to fight your friends (and enemies!)

To that point, there will not be any Space based PvE content with the Digital Expansion. It is only going to be PvP.

Yup! The current plan is that you will see it on PTS before it goes live. I have no information to release yet as to "when" though.

We’d like to thank everyone for your help troubleshooting the Launcher self-patching issues. We received information from several of you that has indicated a bad interaction with the Eset NOD32 anti-virus software. We’re working on several potential fixes for a future release of the Launcher.
