On June 13th, all game servers will be unavailable as we perform maintenance. Patch 2.8a will be implemented during this downtime. Details are as follows:

Date: Friday June 13th

Duration: 2 hours

Time: 3AM PDT (10AM GMT) - 5AM PDT (12PM GMT)

Just as a heads up, we are looking at 5:00AM - 7:00AM CDT for the Maintenance window tomorrow. There will be a dedicated Maintenance post when the time is finalized, but this is the window we're looking at as of right now.

The NiM Dread Fortress HP is something that is being looked into, but is not going to be in the patch tomorrow.

The Guild issues have the same root cause as the area transition issues, so they will be addressed by the fix.

The Legacy cooldown perks not applying properly are a separate issue, but also being addressed in the patch.

Hey everyone,

We have identified a fix to the ongoing area transition/instancing and connectivity issues that players have been seeing since the release of Game Update 2.8. In order to alleviate these issues, we are going to be doing unscheduled maintenance tomorrow morning (Friday, June 13). During this maintenance, we are going to take the Group Finder Operation queue from 16-Player to 8-Player, as we have found that due to tech issues the servers do not perform well under the load caused by the 16-Player queue. Going forward, we are going to evaluate our options in regards to the Group Finder system to see what the best course of action to take is.

Heroic Moment cooldown bugged | 06.12.2014, 08:30 AM
This is caused by the same thing that is making the Legacy unlocks not apply toward travel ability cooldowns. We are going to be addressing this in the patch to resolve the ongoing connectivity and instancing issues, which is currently targeted for tomorrow morning.

Hey folks,

Quick update: As it stands right now we have isolated what we believe is the root cause of the issue and are working on getting a fix in place. Our current target is to have a maintenance early Friday morning where we will deploy a patch which should address the issue. Just to reiterate, this is our target and it is not set in stone. We still need to get the fix in place and tested.

As I have updates I will pass them on, especially around timing. Once I know for sure whether or not it will be Friday I will pass that on!

Hey folks!

I spoke with the combat team regarding this, and this is working as designed. Accuracy affects anything you attempt to do to a hostile target whether damage is being done or not. The only exceptions to this rule are abilities that taunt, which cannot be resisted per their tooltips.

The color, on the other hand, is working as intended. It is mentioned in the tooltip in the Cartel Market that it retains its original color. Sorry for any confusion!
